- Hi guys, and welcome back! We are thrifting Goodwill in Overland Park KS. I found something they totally missed. This Goodwill will typically put designer items in their online marketplace. So, I feel like I lucked out. Stay tuned until the very end, I have a super cute haul of housewares designer purses to share with you! I hope you enjoy the video!

I lucked out and found a great designer bag at Goodwill on this day. It definitely reminded me of the good old days... I found some pretty items this week. What was your favorite?
What a score with that Longchamp × Kate Moss clutch...wow. The blue Coach Daisy tote is so dreamy! I just love it. The animal print wallet, I have the camera crossbody w/wallet in that & it's a fav. Loved the banana print pieces, soooo cute!

I had to remove the stink from an entire room. Here's what you do... get a cup or bowl, something that won't fall over, and fill about half way to 2/3 with straight bleach. Set the container into your trunk and let sit for a few days. It should draw the smell out of the trunk.

Coffee grounds are also odour absorbing. Line bottom of trunk with them and close the lid for a couple of days. Empty the grounds out and the bad smell goes with it.

I agree that Goodwill pricing is wonky. I live in Northern Michigan and have all but given up on our Goodwill. The lowest price point is $3.99 but most often items are marked $6.99 and up. (and no half off colors) Once they cherry pick the better items for their online sales it is slim pickings. 😕
I’ve started giving my donations to smaller organizations that keep their items affordable for everyone to enjoy.

Lanny. Cat litter gets rid of musty book smellsp. Can you find out if it would work for your beautiful trunk?. Remember it has been closed and in the dark for years. Give it time. Ask someone that is knowledgeable. A wood worker? The sun is magic I'm sure. Bless you child. The trunk would be mine if I were there.❤

Dust the trunk with borax and leave it for a few days before vacuuming out.

A big way to get smells out is to air them out after you wash them. I would use some dawn dish soap with just a very tiny amount of baking powder. I would do this only because it is lined. If it wasn't lined, I would use some wood soap.
The tan glasses of four, there was a mark in the middle i missed? Nice job on the purse.
@krystinnahardin3641 Thank you for the cleaning tips, Krystinna! The interior of the trunk is metal and lined with contact paper. The odor was sooooo strong. I don't think there were any markings on the goblets. I really did luck out on the purse! Thank you so much for watching ☺️

My Goodwill has nothing for .99 cent. They seem to start at $2.99.
