@ 22:35 with reference to the the two vertical beams on which the horizontal beam(whose moments we've released),should'nt those beams be continuous?
They are continuous, but to the best of my knowledge, if there is any secondary beam, they have to be modelled like this. I can be wrong, please check from other sources.
One question, why is parapet wall load not included in reference mass? Only live load should be neglected in the roof right?
