I think choosing the lottery ticket really shows the person's character. yeah if you think about it the bread doesn't last you long, but the potential gain of winning it is so much more it seems to be worth the odds, but I think people forget the part where after all that the salesman steps and destroys it but they all came trying to get it because they need food.So the bread is actually not as worthless as they think, it's in fact something that they really need right then and there and they probably don't calculate the odds of them failing and not getting anything at all into that consideration. it's the same with the season 2 which I think you've watched by now. They give them the option of splitting the money and go home, it's a lot more than they get just randomly playing on the subway station, but they still don't want to. It's like a sunk cost fallacy, they feel they already risk their life anyway, might as well go further. Similarly most of the homeless people think the bread probably is not worth that much considering their state, but when they fantasise about the win they forget about the truth of their current situation. I think unless youre at a state where you'd really rather die, like you have actually thought about it, then maybe the game is not really what you want. So I wouldn't say it's rigged, as much as marketing is rigged because it makes you want something more than other things.
Finally. I've been waiting for your reaction on S2 of Squid Game. I'm so happy. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2025! 🎉 Well, the Recruiter said that he used to work burning the bod!es, so it means he was a Circle Soldier then he level up to Triangle Soldier and end up become a Recruiter. The opening makes me hold my breath, Gong Yoo's acting as the Recruiter is so awesome. I agree that he got brainwashed because he has been working with them since young age.

I think you guys will enjoy them all!!! EDIT - Man, forgot one more of my favorites... Sympathy for Mr Vengeance is amazing and is the second in Chan Woo Park's Vengeance trilogy (Oldboy, Lady Vengeance and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance) I would honestly say out of those three, Lady Vengeance is probably the weaker of the three, but only because Sympathy for Mr and Oldboy are so good EDIT 2 - and sorry, but please don't forget Dr. Sleep ;)

@carriesmith742 haha. The club i go to has a max capacity of 400 I think and I claim my spot in the front row early on. That way I don't have to be worried about getting completely squished from all sides or worry about moving around.
Ik this is random but it’s kinda crazy that it took me playing Roblox Squid games with sum of my homies to finally gave Squid games a watch after like 5 years came straight to y’all channel went to the Squid games playlist and here I Am I fw this show a lot kinda wished it was in English tho cuz I gotta constantly read the subtitles but now I actually gotta watch the show to know what’s really going on cuz i usually multitask n do other things while I’m watching something
I also think the host was front man’s dad. Host talked about his son in gganbu episode, front man was there to see host soon after he passed. Something switched in front man after he won the game and after his wife died. Hopefully we learn the why
