Trudy and her husband have a very good heart, always advertising people businesses free on their channels, God bless you 🙏
Awwwwww, you too
Now we are talking…what a beautiful vlog Trudy. Please this is what we want. You have so much to share with your audience. Proudly African. This is just wonderful to watch ❤
More to come 😀
@@MissTrudyy stay focused honey there is so much out there both in Kenya and Ghana for you to showcase. As I said before you are extremely lucky to have an audience who just sit waiting for you to upload a vlog....390,000 subs is a TH-camrs dream! I swear you would have been at least at 400,000 plus by now if you had kept on, kept the consistency that you did before. I know none of us are privy to know what goes on behind the scenes in your day to day life. But please just know that you have a loyal fan base routing for you my love. I mentioned there was an African Food Festival in Ghana ...I wish you could have attended that ...plug yourself into events in both Kenya and Ghana your new home...meet people...show us interesting things like this Henna party. We love you so much. Eagerly awaiting more brilliant content. Keep pushing, be ambitious, do us proud! Love from 🇬🇧😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Its an African culture, even in Uganda you should give and receive with the right hand.
Anyways, this is an interesting culture, the henna is beautiful ❤️

Thank you so much 😀
This was extremely satisfying to watch. Exactly what we had missed.
Africa is a vast area but most of our culture is the same, amongst the Moslem community in Ghana this form of art decor on the bride is always done. Also all the elderly women in the community come together to offer a helping hand.
That’s so beautiful to know!
Miss Trudy as much as you look amazing in extension, the Natural crown is surpassing them all❤❤❤. By the way you both look amazing ❤❤❤

Lovely Henna party!❤ Miss Trudy, i was born and bred in Nairobi and was taught from the time a was a child that you should never give or receive anything with the left hand because it is rude! It is upbringing i guess
That so nice you are her favourite aunty, you guys look pretty and the dresses are nice.
Awwwwwww, thank you 😊
Africa we have beautiful and amazing culture
Waaaooo fantastic, Mrs Maya pls where's 'ur Ring from der USA 🇺🇸
Trudy Henna is also done here in Ghana oo we called it leyley mostly done among the Muslim people when they are getting married mostly seen in Zongo's that's a slum communities comprise of majority Muslims and few Christians
One! Really?!! I had no idea! 😃
Oo yaah😁😁 they usually perform that a day before their marriage ceremony, and do u know what's interesting about this😂 they will intentionally allow the bride to run away from the house then they ordered people to catch her for the hinna to be done, whiles doing den they will be singing in the native language of the bride 😂😂 bt at times too if the bride don't want to be worried they just go straight and perform the hinna which is called leyley , am a Christian though but all my entire life i have lived in Zongo that's Konongo Zongo where Black Sheriff hails from😂
Br Osei, I'm glad you told our Kenyan sister, Trudy that we have this in Ghana, too. I'd respectfully advise you to please be careful how you phrase things when you're outside a culture, though. Zongos are indeed considered slums, however, that's not where all Muslims are from. And being relegated to slums speaks of religious discrimination and economic disenfranchisement in a place colonized by people who claimed to be Christians. (I'm Muslim; half my family is Christian. Notice how I phrased it. Because to me nothing wicked like enslavement or colonization represents the ideals of Christianity, Islam or any other faith honoring our Divine Creator.) Anyway, I'm partly Hausa, Ga, Fante with even some Fulani, Kanuri, Yoruba & Sierra Leonean ancestry. I have family in zongos as well as in Ofankoh, Dzorwulu, etc., and the lalle is part of our festivities, hence my sisterly caution to you, onua Osei, about how you say it. In nations like Senegal, Mali, Somalia, etc., they wouldn't be mischaracterized as slum communities. Here in the U.S., there are those who think a dowry is a "bride price" which is false. Akans do not sell daughters. As I'm sure you know, it's across our various cultures and it's simultaneously to demonstrate to the bride's family that she'll be well provided for and to thank them for raising up the lovely, courteous lady with whom they're joining families. Can you also imagine trying to explain what an akonta sikan/bro-in-law's knife is? Lol. Anyway, 🇬🇭 Ghana forever. Ma Onyame nka wo ho. Amn. Red ❤Gold💛Green💚 for life. 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
@@loveheals6184i liked your explanation.
@@CeeblaCuud ASA, Sister 🤗 I really appreciate your taking the time to write this and for showing me solidarity. Mahadsanid 🥰💚🤲🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿 P.S. I've subscribed to your channel as a show of support. I deeply respect your making your videos in Somali. It's important to honor & protect the best parts of our cultures.

Serious Indian influence in the coastal culture. Even the name Mombasa reminds one of Mumbai..
No it means the island of war in Swahili during the colonial time... Which in Arabic Is manbasa. Arabic and Swahili are quite similar
@@jessicah-22 Ok, thanks for elucidating. As a westerner, I only said the name reminds one of Mubai. I understand that Swahili is a type of patois comprised of words from many languages. I heard someone say "anda Shule," and was able to figure out that he meant "go to school." Now, I am also a Spanish and Portuguese speaker and thought "anda" was derived from the verb "andar" in Portuguese, which means to walk; and Shule may be from English or German. I may be wrong as someone told me that "anda" is a bantu word. We know that some Bantu words may have their origins in Portuguese. I.e, the word mesa for table. Is anda Bantu or Portuguese?
That's exclusive and beautiful 🎉❤
Thank you

Trudy, the left hand thing is generally not acceptable in most if not all African communities. Also, learn to say Shikamoo to the elderly whilst in Uswahilini. It's the respectful way of greeting the elderly.
Thanks for the information. I did not know
