I love the shorter length designs lately. Being on a keyboard at work, I have to do shorter nails during the week so I like designs created for shorter nails instead of trying to squeeze a design from a longer length onto a shorter nail!❤

I think beetles top coat you need to wipe it so you should try getting a no wipe top coat and it should work. Love how they turned out🥰🥰

Love this video ! Im obsessed with both designs. I tried the air brush method about a year ago and I gave up lol I think the machines I bought were not good quality because I had a hard trouble getting the gel polish out. I will definitely try out the one you link below 💗

When I use chrome powder, I use a base coat & it sticks well
You should use paints made specially for airbrushes. They work fine on nails.
Acetone in an airbrush poses a health threat. When the acetone-gel polish mixture is sprayed, it can easily come into contact with the skin surrounding the nails, increasing exposure. Furthermore, airborne particles may also be inhaled, which could potentially lead to respiratory issues.

I make and sell press on nails too and could never figure out how to get chrome to appear mirror like instead of glittery. Tried it with a no wipe top coat and still no luck but curing the top coat for less time deffo worked!!!
Cure the top coat only 10 seconds then rub the chrome powder on
I love, love your videos. So detailed and I love that you talk through every step. I’m in the process of starting my own press on nails. I actually started during the pandemic but it wasn’t something serious until now, so I think I’m ready. I’ve learned so much from your videos.
Question do you put base cost on twice? I’ve seen some people use base cost and some don’t.
A silicone tool will work better for chrome :) The brushes don't buff enough and fingers transfer oils that can lift the chrome.
Is that why chrome will sometimes come out grainy instead of smooth? I use the brush and it comes out grainy/shiny
if the chrome doesn’t stick you can wipe the top coat with alcohol then you can reapply the chrome and it should stick a lot better!!🫶

Foil wraps especially from Saviland has been extremely difficult for me. I have sooo many pretty styled foils and can’t use them because either they or I suck lol could you do a tutorial on foil wraps pleasseeee ❤

I used to use the hurry up nail glue dryer from amazon and now i dont use anything! It just takes longer to dry without it 🥲
Yes!! I am also using the beetles gel coat and I was so frustrated because the chrome wasn’t sticking so I only used 15 seconds max, but my chrome still comes out grainy. If I go above 15 secs the chrome becomes patchy. I don’t know what to do 😢

So I just had to say I was watching Kirstie meakin she did a video on chrome and to make it last your supposed to top it with base coat then no whipe top coat again because the no whipe top coat doesn't like to stick to shiny surfaces like the chrome but does stick to the sticky layer of the base coat as that's why it has the sticky layer to help with adhesion so also no your not supposed to whipe the sticky layer off of base coat it's there to help the next layer stick to it 😉❤️💕

You have to take the top off the front and make sure the needle is clean . And advice the smaller the mail go back further

do you know perhaps why colors won't show on black ?? even though Im using an airbrush... I wanted to add a real strong blue and it just would not show on the nail... looks like I just sprayed water :(

are you not thickening them with something or just decorating them? i use builder gel on mine with acrylic powder then file them then decorate them but its just long now and getting on my nerves 😂 i need a better strong quick solution
Hi! As long as you use a nice thick layer of base gel they’re extremely strong. Almost as strong as acrylic

Yes the beetles top coat dries superrrr fast. When I do a chrome look, since I only have beetles polishes, I would use the base coat and that would work well with the chrome instead of the top coat. 🫶🏼

How long do you cure the base coat? I try using the top coat but the chrome becomes a shiny but grainy chrome instead of the smoother kind even tho I dropped the cure time. I even tried fully curing but the chrome won’t stick at all!

Do you cure the nails for 60 secs after anything you paint ? I’m trying to start making press ons but I’m having a hard time with paints curing I do base coat cure for 60 secs and it’s still sticky so I cure it again then paint the gel and once I put it in for 60 secs it’s still wet can you make a in-depth version for beginners with no knowledge of where to start ?
Either your UV light is too weak,
Your layers are too thick,
Or a mixture of both. Try getting a stronger UV light!!
How do you know your customers nail size?
Genuinely curious or whats your perspective on this. How do you make money or find customers willing to pay top dollar when theres so many cheap generic press on nail companies? Ive been thinking of starting a press on nail website but i keep seeing all these companies charging 9.99$ or 11.99$ for a set. Lik how can anyone compete with that? So thts my rant lol I love your nails i think there gorgeous btw 😍😍

I know you work fast and this is sped up but girl why does it take me forever to do a set of press ons? You polish all 5 and then cure but I must cure each nail otherwise it'll get thick and look like it starts dripping on the edges. 😖
Do thinner layers. See how she is moving the set around in the air and constantly brushing? She is getting out bubbles. If your nail polish is dripping onto the side it is too thick.
The tab nibs of the tips should be filed BEFORE the nails are painted. The raw edge makes them look unfinished, imo. Other than that, well done!!
