Thanks for motivating me to survive, it’s not easy to find people who openly share their mental health struggles but aren’t harsh on themselves and their audience and are positive
Adore cozy K so much ! She is my favourite cozy TH-camr and always calms me when I’m watching and has gotten me to buy those colouring books and colour more as well as other hobbies ! Would love if you did more content like this when and if you can ! They are the best to watch while reading or doing one of your hobbies !
Loving this new era, Hailey Your constant reminder to do things for the sheer pleasure of them and not to be good or perfect at them is a solid reminder that yes, we are allowed to simply enjoy the things we do. Also, seeing your smile today, after a really difficult day, made me really happy. Thanks for bringing sunshine into our lives. You are such a wonderful inspiration.
I have so many colouring books but rarely actually finish a page…but it’s okay. They’re just for fun, so you can colour until the page is no longer fun and then leave it!
OK so from someone who used to crochet....amigarumi is not considered beginner level so don't feel bad for struggling a little. Once you get that circle down you'll find it so much easier to get things started. Practicing it is NOT a bad idea. Also get used to pulling the center good and tight once you get more practice. Don't want your stuffing falling out. I had so many projects where stuffing was sticking out everywhere 😀
in order to avoid missing stiches in your crochet, you should get some stitch markers! You can get a big pack of them for super cheap, you just put them in the last stitch of each row. it makes it soooo much easier.
I love this video! For your magic circle. Just pull. Kinda hard even. To get your hole in the middle smaller. It looks great! Also there are some amazing and super simple magic circle videos here on youtube
It's so nice to see you so happy and enjoying yourself. Thank you for sharing your hobbies and the projects your working on. This is inspiring me to start working on the hobbies I used to enjoy and haven't done in awile. 😊 That was precious when you were sitting on the couching and all your fur babies were laying down so comfy and you started petting each one. My heart melted 💜
I have discovered a surprise love for snails too 😅 my 5 year old daughter found a young one in a bundle of rhubarb we had gotten so we decided to keep it as a pet (just for a short while before releasing it) - we made a beautiful habitat for it and it was absolutely fascinating to learn about them up close and watch it grow. Ours was really friendly too! It was not shy to crawl around our hands.
If you’re using a magic circle you just have to pull on the tail to close the hole. If you’re doing the chain method you can just sew it up with a tapestry needle.
Yay loved this! These sorts of vlogs honestly feel more chill when they include working through some of the challenges that come up. Forreal I think magic circle was one of the hardest things for me to grasp when I started crocheting! I teach crochet classes at the local yarn store and we regularly see people come in who had a hard time starting crochet with woobles kits and those already start the circle for you 😅 it can be so hit or miss going from tutorials. With projects where it's fiddly to identify the ends of rows I find it helpful to put a stitch marker into the first stitch as I complete it, so when I'm working back on the next row I know for sure it's the end.
I really struggled with magic circles as well until I did Bella coco crochet’s circle of hope tutorial and practiced using the squares! Haven’t tried it on any other projects yet 😂 crochet is so tricky at times. Loved this vlog, so cosy ☺️
Really enjoying these cozy vlogs! Now I want to learn how to crochet! I play Animal Crossing while listening to audiobooks, but I feel like it would be good to mix things up a bit and learn something new.
You are an inspiration! Makes me want to go do some creative hobbies :) Can't wait to see your next reading vlog, too (although this vlog was nice, too)
There are a lot of free amigurumi pattern tutorials on youtube if you want something free to learn from. There are tons of patterns where you just have to follow the video instructions instead of reading a pattern. Just look up crochet amigurumi for beginners, and a bunch of videos will come up on how to make the basics, then just search for whichever animal you want to make.
12:43: Is there anyway I can get some color by number books instead of paint by numbers.. If you know some store that sells them, kindly leave names here. Thank you!
I couldn't get through Dear Edward, Ann Napolitano's other book that they've written. It got me to personally release how Napolitano wasn't the author for me.

With your scarf, you could always add a birder when you get done to even out the spaces you missed.

Such a cute relaxing video to watch as I pack up and move to another petsit ❤

I used to LOVE paint by numbers!!
There are 100 videos on TH-cam about the magic loop. Watch on 50% speed and repeat as needed
I found different creators do it slightly different

CUTEST vlog idea. I gotta make a video like this :")

If you like color by number or paint by number, i think you would enjoy diamond painting

You remind me of my sister!!!! Youre absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I have that same paint by number picture and I feel so silly because its supposed to be easy but I still find it really difficult 😂
