If you don’t want the crust to dark then cover the top with foil for a chunk of the cooking time and remove the foil towards the end of cooking

Yikes - I mistakenly wrapped my pies (Mom's Traditional Apple & Praline Pumpkin) before putting it in the freezer (rather than freezing it first, then wrapping it). Did I ruin them??

I'm sure it'll be fine. At worst you might see some lines from the wrap on it when you unwrap it.
