he call him "brother" because wukong used to selfstyle himself as "the sage equal to heaven". so what he mean by that is he does not respect their higher authority. in the chinese dub, wukong would go as far as to call him "nephew", a referrence to Erlang being the nephew of the Jade Emperor.
one interesting thing about chinese mytho is the celestia court are not rule by gods, but immortals. this is because tao believe letting thing take their natural course; therefore their god would not intervene in what happen in the world. they believe human and everything in this world can "level up" and eventually become immortals. eventually the different immortals started fighting for control of the world creating chaos. the one who prevail in that war created the institution of the celestia court to bring order to the immortals. and he was styled the jade emperor by his immortal peers for bringing order to the world. so jade emperor is not the most powerful in the mytho, just the most powerful that give a shit about what is happening. it a way to reason how there can be order in a world in a believe system that accept the world is and should be chaotic. so the "gods" you see in this game are actually immortals who were once human, animals or in wukong case, a stone... chinese mytho is literally an PVP MMORPG where you evolve like a pokemon...

Wukong respect Erlang a lot and two generally just called each other brother just to be kind to each other. Yes it's normal for Chinese to call other brother to show friendly
There are 81 "main" bosses for the 81 calamities the crew had to face during their journey to retrieve the scriptures and attain Buddhahood in Journey to the West. Adding Yaoguai chiefs and secret bosses, you get between 107-113 bosses, I believe.

*Nephew, not son-in-law. Jade Emperor's sister fell in love with a mortal man and gave birth to Yang Jian (Erlang) and his siblings. Unfortunately this enraged Jade Emperor and he sent Heavenly Soldiers to imprison her and killed Yang's father and his brothers. Only him and his sister survived, he ended up saving his mother by using the Divine Axe to split open the mountain, just like he did in the game intro.
we were both kinda speechless but it was lovely. Also didn't want to play too many musical parts cuz that usually results in getting claimed immediately here on TH-cam
you might be able to adjust some of the graphics settings to reduce the motion sickness for her. I get motion sickness very easily on video games too, but adjustments like turning off motion blurr, reducing the sensitivity of the camera controls so the camera moves slower, etc., can help a lot. There're a lot of ppl who are sensitive to motion sickness like us, but also like playing video games. If you search on the internets you might even find a list of which settings to adjust for the more popular games.
@@catsidhe181 I tried all those tricks, on top of that I noticed that when she makes a turn，she doesn't turn the character and the camera angle simultaneously like most people do, and she said it would cause motion sickness for her. So I'm not sure if she can play Wukong since the combat requires player constantly doing just that

Plenty of masterpieces in the sea, after all, I myself have a long to-play list of games that I'll never get through in a lifetime, even with my own limitations.
I used to have it too but after constant vomittings and pushing through the years, I cured myself and can finally enjoy games like these. This is one of those instance where you keep trying and you will eventually get used to it
