I noticed that Sonic had 2 modes. a combat mode, and a speed run mode. If the finished version of this game combines the modes properly while incorporating levels based on speed and combat, and fixes the boss fights, I would definitely pay for it.
This is definitely inspired or built upon Sonic vs Darkness. I need more of this!!!!!!! MORE I TELL YOU! Where and when?!?!

This game has lots of potential, I like that there is a gamemode where you go fast, and a gamemode where you platform and sometimes stop for close combat, it's awesome.
I will always love A Himitsu. the fact this song is in here is crazy.
everything looks juicy, but you don't feel the enemies because of the boost. Just like in sonic forces
This makes me realize how good Breakcore music would fit in a Sonic game.

2d sonic unleashed where the werehog is basically sonic but he looks like mephiles(cause he looks like an actual werehog) and the werehog stages are modern sonic stages but the end of each stage or middle of each stage is a combat boss sequence
There is some little adjustment to do like the direction of the boost while sonic is in the air, and that would be perfect
This is the most amazing thing I've seen with sonic sprites

I'm surprised by the fact that Sonic is one of the biggest fan-based society in the world and has well-developed fan game and yet SEGA keep silent on these ideas that worth billions.
Seeing Sonic fighting with out the Werehog is a strange feeling. Makes you wonder what plot point Sonic has for just going Brawl mode on the robots instead of blasting through everything.
I wanna know what that music is called, and if it's from some other youtube music or really made for this game

Just an idea. For Moonday have Sonic move forward a little bit with each attack to help them combo better. A launcher into air combos would be cool too. And the level design should be tighter since he moves slower.
Also give Sonic and evade/roll
I just don't want the 2d Moonday Sonic to be a rehash of the werehog. It should be deeper. Werehog done right.

During wall hop the camera should not follow sonic so tightly. It should stay centered or at least not move so much. Is there anyway to loosen the camera and add a little dead zone before the screen begins to scroll.

Use the fighting animations from this with the roll/spin moves and Sonic would feel more complete in Smash as a more well-rounded fighter.

I know it's not this fan game's fault, but modern sonic in general. I hate the wall the jump mechanic. It's only usable on special walls, and it makes it feel far less a part of your moveset as much as an occasional level gimmick .
People need to stop putting in the boost mechanic. There’s literally no sense in speed being a reward anymore when you can easily just spam it. Especially in these games where you can see it clearly doesn’t work well in 95% of these games. It’s literally Sonic Gen, Unleashed, And Sonic Force but 2D.
