Can you only blend after making things with the shape tool? I’m trying to blend a shape i made with my pen tool. But nothing is happen. It’s a tiger head and one of the ears. They are both colored with gradient and I’m trying to blend the colors

or align to X distance by first object or whatever its called

A quicker and easier way to copy and paste objects or anything in any of the Adobes programs is to get the move tool and hover above the object you wish to copy untill you see a double arrow, and click and drag it to a new location or file. I learned that from a person who worked on Star Wars for I.L.M.
if you select something and hold ALT the double arrows comeup. you dont need to hover until it appears.
Can you tell me why after expand you can't do editing but I can do? maybe I do smth wrong??
