Hi! I remember reading somewhere that last years Il Cafe was an intensity 13, and the recent relaunch is an 11 so I can totally see how it’s more intense!

I’m going to try Il cafe again. I ordered it in January 2021. My first order after getting a nespresso for Xmas! I didn’t find it as smooth as some of the other pods. I found it kind of astringent. It left me with kind of a scratchy throat and I never reordered it. I’m bored with my old standbys so I’m going to give the new one a try.
I originally found your channel while searching for LV videos but now I really love your coffee videos! I just got a Breville espresso machine a few months ago… for some reason I find it so satisfying & calming watching it brew. :)

@@maisonmalli I really like it! We don’t have a super fancy one (ours is the Bambino) but so far so good. We used to just use a Keurig for regular coffee but now we get bags of beans that we grind ourselves for espresso :)
That’s a very interesting comparison between the colors of Il Cafe and Stormio, I didn’t even think of that. I have the Inizio pod but I haven’t tried it yet so I’m going to have to get on that. Also, I feel like I’ve been cheated!😁 I didn’t try the Il Cafe pod last year so I didn’t have anything to compare it to but it’s good to know the old one is better.😂 As always, thank you for another great video!!🥰🥰

YESSSSS! I hate that the 7.7oz has been discontinued in the Giornio, it was a great pod. I do however, love the newer version as well.

I really prefer my coffee hot hot. Some of the coffee pods are definitely different temps. The espresso temp drives me nuts!
I wish they would have kept the same intensity for il caffe. I’m sorry I missed out on the original pods. I only have the new il caffe and I feel a bit cheated 😕
What cups are you using to brew the il cafe espresso. I love them.
