Well worth watching several times over, there is so much great knowledge. I agree bar 11 is a hemiola - I can tell as i trip over the rhythm slightly :)
Inbal, could you please do a video on the Rococo variations (Tchaikovsky Op. 33)? I would greatly appreciate your interpretation. Or just the main theme and first two variations
I watched this initially as I wondered if anyone played the a flat in bar 30 with their thumb? Allowing 1 and 4 to remain on the f and e flat so letting them ring. I am guessing not.
Too difficult for me(-: personally, the change of angle of the left hand to get to the thumb will be too disruptive for the musical line, but then again, I am away from my cello now so , worth a try. Thanks for that idea!
Probably a silly question. How do you think about the D-flat in bars 1 and 2? Meaning, in a solo suite there's some freedom of pitch, it could be a little higher or lower: how do you think about pitching it?
