I must admit there was a few things you dont see in the video i should point out if helps anyone -- the company tenways have some fantastic customer service if you have questions and very helpful. when building this bike it had THE BEST set of tools I have ever seen sent with the bike. as a road cyclist (a while ago i should add) this really is a premium bike and i mean on par with my carbon lightwait ultegra roadbike. i am hypersensitive to noise and this was like a gentle opera in my ears. the grips and brakes are just fantastic and even though I just took to the end of the road I was immediatly in love with this. I sure hope it helps me get back out there to lose weight
Lack of gears in a country that isn't flat as Norfolk or the Netherlands is going to burn those muscles to ashes, my bike, which shamefully I have abandoned in the shed since 2019, is a "hybrid", so has those skinny road tyres, but has the gearing of a mountian bike (and a back rack like a shopper bike, cos jack-of-all-trades!), and with a little front suspension for those sneaky potholes that plague the nation, no rear suspension so the clackers will be clacking, but it's not an ebike, just a cheapo Argos thing that I liked the look of and, well, 2020 happened and I gave up on myself... :P
That's interesting as that's what I want to do to my fiances bike when it arrives. She doesn't like the full downhill experience as much as me, so is getting a cheap chinese electric bike. I'd like to swap the gears in the cassette for something with a bit more low range hill climbing.
@@DavidMcLuckie Well if inspiration's needed, my bike's a Cross CRX500 (Black with blue bits, don't think they're available new any more, they did a women's version too with stereotypical pink in place of the blue), easy to find pics on google images to see how it's all set up, think it's only a 21 speed though, but I'm sure could be upgraded with a different cassette, it's a neat bike though, could probably kit it out as an ebike with replacing one of the wheels with an appropriate electrified one, but I've not got that sort of cash unless they became more affordable... :)

Interesting that it has some commonality with my Mercedes Smart eBike which also has a Gates carbon fibre belt.
And my new bike. :)
@@DavidMcLuckie i need to look out for one of them as well best of both worlds right there 🙂
