Agreed; I find it easier to get into a training zone when training in my basement. I actually decided earlier this morning that I need to change my other training sessions to decrease my sets (sometimes it's 30 sets) as I was training about 2 hours. My body reminded me after 4-5 weeks of doing that that this wasn't a great idea and the last thing I want is an injury. It's just easy to keep going when you don't have any interruptions, can blast your music, and not rush the workout. Thanks for showing how the FoodSaver works and for your recommendation on this unit. I've been debating on whether or not to get one of these. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Great video! We love our FoodSaver too. For foods that have a lot of moisture, we will often place them in an unsealed bag in the freezer overnight and then vacuum seal. This allows the liquids to set up and prevents a mess outside the seal (and in the FoodSaver itself).

I have been training in the garage, sticking back to the basics. Bench,Squat,Deadlift,OHP and lots of heavy rows. There is no clock or mirrors to look at and, I have noticed the same as you, so focused that I end up unintentionally training for 2 hours. My strength is increasing each week and I’m up 5lbs looking better than ever. It’s great!!

Great advice on the chicken I actually enjoy training by myself, because my focus is at 100%. I know what machines and free weights I want to use, and not having to wait for another person's rest time, which kills your own. I motivate myself as well just by having a great mindset, getting focused through music and having that goal to crush it. I know sometimes having a partner can help with pushing yourself over the limit, but, I'd rather do my own thing.

Ive noticed that buddy when im training in my garden i think its been like an hour and When i check my watch its been like 2 hours lol! Also agree with the chicken point that it becomes so sickening because you have it so much. Ive currently switched to steak, steak burgers and eggs for my main protein sources in lockdown. Just so once we are outta lockdown i can go back to rice and chicken and it may be a bit more enjoyable

I recently built a gym in my garage. I’ve had some of my better lifts in there but initially had a super hard time getting used to lifting alone. Just the lack of ambience and all that made it a challenge for me.

Thank you for this video I’m in nursing school and am someone who used to be really overweight. I had dropped 70lbs and gained 20lbs back to maintain a 4.0 in the 1st quarter. Working out alone, sometimes is great, sometimes just good... I'd say the hardest part is I miss the machines, I'm sick of the basics, I need more variety, cables, hack squats, extensions, hammers, etc. And as you have said, it's a social thing, the fun part, I get to go out, I see people, even if I don't talk to most of them, it's not just the workout...

There are a lot less distractions, I never have to queue up for equipment, and I can superset to my heart's content without feeling like an asshole because someone else is waiting for me to finish. Right now I'm trying to set my place up in such a way that I'll hopefully never have to go back to the gym again 😂
Great idea cooking so many at once when you have a few hours of spare time, buying in such huge bulk will soon pay for the vacuum wrap machine too as its probably cheaper to buy chicken in quantity like that.
I've worn out 4 sealers so far......Great for when we go offshore and get Mangrove Snapper, can bag that and would last 6 months.....Traeger grills are the best.....

I find using my home gym has given me more time to focus on each body part without seeing people waiting on the equipment out of the corner of my eye. What usually took me an hour to do in the gym I spend probably another half an hour on but in a great way. Granted I don’t have all the weights in the world but I make do and have not lost strength or size.

Gerry H the air fryer is a little much you can get a smaller cheaper one and does the trick. The vacuum sealer is a good purchase for sure
