I started buying scales and nendoroids before getting my first prize figure being the Hatsune Miku bicute bunny by furyu white version. I was blown away by her size, details and quality having real fishnets. I know a lot of people within the community turn their noses up to prize figures but honestly their quality is getting better and better with each one that comes out. I’ve seen scale figures priced stupidly high that don’t look half as good as some prize figures. Love seeing you branch out to different kinds of figures and talking about them. You’re always the first one I go to when wanting to know more about a specific topic.💕
hey i have that Miku as well, and i really love her too! mine doesn't even lean either. (i paid like 50 bucks for her though 🤡 but she was worth it), stan prize figures 🌸
I also have that Miku figure as my first ever figure. She arrived at my doorstep one day before my birthday and I waited until the clock hits 12am to open up the box. The seller did clarify that the box is dented but it's affordable so I just bought it. I must say, that figure is the best one I own. Nothing in my small collection can top that.
i’ve got a couple prize mikus but that one specifically blew me away (i have the black version). she’s huge (bigger than a 1/8 scale i just got!!) and absolutely beautiful details and sculpt for a prize figure, probably my favourite prize that i own
Taito, Sega Premium lines and FuRyu are amazing prize makers. I feel like Bandai can be extremely hit or miss! I was so disappointed with their Demon Slayer prize line. I will say, Sega delivers on the size over FuRyu and Taito seems to nail the smaller details!
Have you seen the sega premium demon slayer figures, they look horrible, compared to the banpresto/ bandai lineup (vol b), vibration stars. Its insane, if you look at sanemi pictures of the sega perching figures (his side burns are printed on), vs banpressto vol b its just his hair piece as a whole (looks much better)
@@mattnoir4568 I'm just sad to see Sammy mismanage Sega so much that their quality is no longer there and always mid. I wouldn't be shocked anymore if Sammy was going to divest from entertainment contents business. They have nothing to do in this business when their main business is gambling and resort. They put half-hearted effort into their products as you see with Sega's premium figures.
"TAITO" really shines in their ability to capture the characters face and personality perfectly with their sculpt. My "Echidna China Dress Ver." made by them has a face sculpt that's better than all her scales released so far. Their paint job can he a bit sloppy sometimes, but their use of gradients and clear parts for hair ends is unique as well. I just wish they made some Emilia's goddammit!!!
Emilia gets neglected in terms of getting figures. There’s WAY too much Rem & Ram. And they went a little overboard on Echidna. Honestly would love to see more Emilia, especially since I’ve held to her being best girl since day one.
as a student i don't really have that much money but still want to satisfy my collector heart. Prize Figures are my love and i just bought the Furyu Super Sonico and i am SO MUCH IN LOVE WITH HER - she was only 40€ and she looks absolutely AMAZING! :D i really can't wait to get more of them, and i really hope someday i can afford Scale Figures, but for now i am just so glad that there are affordable options for people who can't spend 500 bucks for one single figure.
I think something that NEEDS to be addressed is how awesome Pop Up Parade has been doing with their line up of figures. Like not only are they really affordable but they are on a border of grasping the scale figure quality. Like some of these Pop Up Parades are on par with some 1/8 scale figs and that's saying something.
I also really love them 😄 well, sometimes there are not very good ones, like the Misaka Mikoto PUP, but you can already decide based on the picture they upload.
I totally agree, even though I don’t own any, I’ve seen them irl maybe the only “problem” is the small size, but hey, we can’t have everything , I get it (ofc) lol but they are so cute & look amazinggg
oh I love prize figures!! my favorites to collect are the Miku prize figures!! 🥺 I also just made my first purchase/preorder from amiami today, and it’s made me incredibly anxious, but you uploaded this at the perfect time!! your videos always help me relax!! thank you so much 🥺💗
Miku prizes are always so fantastic! Congrats on your first Amiami purchase 💕 I know it can be stressful ordering from a new shop for the first time but you are in good hands with Amiami!
Honestly it makes me so happy to see you talk about this! I just started in the hobby and I've had to delete some negative comments on my figure unboxings lately. My province is really landlocked and I don't know anyone who collects figures in my area so I was starting to think I wasn't a 'real' collector cause I only have one scale so far. This gives me hope hahaha
I know this is an old comment, but honestly this "real" anime collector thing among people in the hobby is such bs imo, buy what you can afford and makes you happy ❤
im so happy to hear that prize figures are worth their money, especially taitos! i'd just ordered the AMP taito alice miku, and seeing this has eased my nerves a lot. i'll be buying more taito figures in the future too~
A lot of prize figures definitely can give some scales a run for their money. I have a few prize figures mixed in with my mostly scale collection, and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between their quality unless you were up close and examining every detail. I was actually thinking about selling all my prize figures and focusing exclusively on scales, but nah. I love the prize figures that I own and sometimes they're the only option for a character. Or they're a good option if you don't like a character THAT much to spend $50-$100+ on them!
Banpresto, FuRyu and Sega have always been very hit or miss for me, but I love the Taito and Pop Up Parade figures. The price point also seems to really make a difference for Banpresto, they have $25 figures and then $60 figures, you really get what you pay for. :) In terms of scale figures, Kotobukiya comes out with some really nice 1/7th scales for around $80. LOVE my Mitsutada, Yami Yugi, Kaiba and Dark Magician girl 1/7th's.
That Autumn Miku is actually on my to buy list. She’s gorgeous. I only do scale figures but yes, lol I have a few Taito Miku. Their qualities are quite well done.
Some amazing prize figures out there. I have a couple taito coreful sakurajima mai figures and was blown away by how good they look in comparison to some scales for the price
Like most people I started with prizes and then moved to Scales (though pop up parade is like my fave line atm) but have to say even today with my massive collection there are still multiple prize figures I love and a few that would probs make my top 10 fave figs in my collection
i do not have a lot of money so i just buy prize figures and nendoroids a couple times a year and have been very satisfied with my purchases so far haha, there's a lot of nice looking prize figures out there for $20-30
I only have one prize figure, the Sega Megurine Luka, mostly because they didn’t have a 1/8 scale Luka in her V2 outfit to match my Miku. I was surprisingly happy with her, there is only one minor flaw in her paint job but it can be easily hidden. So yeah, I’ve had a pretty good experience with prize figures so far!
I love prize figures tbh. Some can be in some really cool poses, especially Kuji prizes. Plus u can get some characters who would never get a scale. Legit instantly pre ordered the gobta prize figure cuz I love him but know he will never get a scale. Plus I’m a broke manga addict
As of now I have 4 figures. 3 prizes and 2016 Racing Miku Thai Version. Two of my prizes are the Ram and Rem Fairy Tale Series crossover (pearlescent color because the other options look too flat in color) and they are as tall as my Miku, Ram is much wider. The other fig I have is the Ram Ichibansho bust, which is a prize, but it's so nice! She's shaded, good weight, and has great detail work (The eyes that follow you around are so cool and perfect for Ram's personality). I'll never snub a well done prize figure!
I remembered it was Friday and I rushed to watch your video. It did not disappoint. I manged to pre order the Senku and I am really excited because there was not too much for him and this one looks great.
These prize figures are really cute, I don't have too much knowledge on the prize figure brands but this was super informative and helpful for some future purchases ✨💕
3:00 i wouldnt really categorize gachapon figures as prize figures, but more as you said, trading figures. theyre so much smaller and the quality is usually pretty bad, i dont think theyre on the same level. i guess kuji figures (ichibansho figures) do count as prize figures technically, but when i think of "prize figures" i only think of the crane game ones personally. kuji ones are a little more high quality and a little more expensive, usually around $50, and you can preorder some of them as well. great video!! :D
I’ll be getting my first prize figure this month, Hatsune Miku 2nd season autumn version. So excited for it! Also, I want to say that I’m honestly happier with my pop up parade Al Elric figure than with my scale Ed Elric from Kotobukiya. Non-scales can be amazing!!!
Taito new line COREFUL is definitely need to watch out for, I really love them, I don't have scale figure for now so I can't compare it but for all prized Figure COREFUL is the best!!!
I think it's amazing that prize figures are literally prizes in Japan and you can gain them in a single use of the crane machine or only one ticket in the lottery (extremely improbable but the probability exists) making these the cheapest and best made figures possible for you to get !
Talking about prize figures and not talking about Miku is almost impossible, one of the most popular prize is Miku because of the crazy variety she comes in !
I love prize figures!! ^^ My sister collects Furyu/Taito Mikus and I collect SEGA's Touhou characters, they look SO adorable together and I love them so much. The only scale I own is Satori Koimeiji by QuesQ (another Touhou character) and she's the crown jewel on my detolf AND she fits perfectly with the rest of the SEGA's Touhou characters. At first I thought that collecting these was gonna be a hit or miss but they turned out to be the best choice I could make to start a figure collection
my collection also started with scales and i only recently started looking at prize figures. i used to think of it as a "you get what you pay for" thing back then, but when i started frequenting amiami and mfc, i saw how many good prize figures there were! there are even some that i chose over scales because i honestly thought they looked better. and of course it's super nice that they're way easier on the wallet LOL.
Your attack on titan shelf looks so good! I think it looks better that the Levi is different in the middle. Plus it's just a better figure imo than the tree Levi. I'm so jealous 😭
Some prize figures are really nice. The Bofuri Maple prototype prize figure came out much better looking than the prototype for the scale. I didn't collect too many prize figures at the start since my first figure was a Myethos scale which probably caused my standards for figures to be way higher than most people when they start collecting.
I started collecting figures relatively recently and prize figures were a good place to start since I didn't know how big into collecting I'd be. Most of my figures are Pop Up Parade and I really like their quality. I'm getting my first scale figure this month (Mafuyu Kirisu Alter figure from We Never Learn) and I'm pumped.
Honestly Pop Up Parade are really blurring the line between prize and scale figures. I can't even tell you how some Pop up Parade figures are better quality if not on par with 1/8 scale figures. I've compared them and it's true. Of course 1/7 and up you'll be getting your money's worth for the quality. However for the quality Pop Parade is doing with their figs I'd say they are beating the competition in the 1/8 scale market for some series.
I buy figures I can get, know I can save up for or know I could get them as presents. I also buy cheap ones that saves money for me so I can go buy another figure. I bought 68 dollar miku or something like that, 2 key chains and a drink so I have 94.82 dollars left
I just bought my first couple of prize figures (and first static figures, been just collecting articulated till now) so i hope they turn out great. They´re both from Taito by the way
ty for the info! new got into figure collecting because its just too pricey to me but recently ive seen some mega cute ones for like 30 euros! still learning where to buy but very fun and cute
I started with a nendoroid of my girl Alice Zuberg from SAO. I have known her through the novel before she appeared in the anime, so when she got her very first figure, I got super excited and started a collection of her before I realized hehehe. I have some prizes of her and got surprised that her Sega ex-chronicle dress version is actually good (actually my favorite prize). Sega sometimes caaan be good, it depends. Spoiler, I went down the rabbit hole and now I have her Phat Company figure and the Aniplex Kaguya. This is addictive
I started figure collecting around a few weeks ago at the time of this comment. Since I didn’t look into collecting at the time, my first figure was the SEGA Akaza from Demon Slayer which I think looked nicely detailed, albeit the pose just wasn’t desirable, but the detail was really nice. While not my second figure, I recently got a pre owned Bandai Figuarts Tanjiro Water breathing and think the figure as a whole looks great. The water effects are amazing they’re just a bit too dark and not at transparent as i’d like, but still great nonetheless. The other flaw I believe is his face, particularly the eyes. The forehead scar is fine, but the eyes just don’t seem quite right, but the figure itself overall is worth it for the price I paid for it. I also got the Taito artist masterpiece Rem and I think she looks great especially as her retail price was VERY affordable for what she’s worth. Overall, as a beginner collector, scale or prize doesn’t matter. As long as it’s a character I like and the detail is well made
I have the Miku Noodle Stopper figure as well altough in my case it is the orange chinese dress vers which i think was more limited than the regular vers. I happen to have won it by chance on Toreba back in 2020 and i won it with free tickets and i have to say as far as noodle stopper figures go, you are right it is so unbelievably cute, like you can just put her anywhere and it just lightens the room with cute overload. Your lucky you got the pink vers as i would of liked to get the pair together.
Hi and thank you much. I have only a few scale figures. Tight budget to put it mildly. I have a bunch of prize figures and a lot of gachapon. It is nice to hear more about what I can get not what I wish I could afford.
I recently started collecting figures and am like you and have only bought scale figures. Some prize figures look nice but I'm worried once I start I'll buy a bunch, which may be fine since they are cheaper anayway.
It is kind of interesting how like 10-15 years ago you got scale figures for 6k yen, and it looked pretty good. Now prize figures come at 6k yen and look just like old scale figures. I guess they just swapped markets? So that prize figures now produce what in the past used to be scale figures. And the old scale figure creators now make more elaborate figures with really advanced bases, cast-offs, alternative faces, bodies and so on.
From personal experience, Sega prize figures are only worth it when they are based on western animation, which is super odd, but their Disney figures are some of the best and most accurate
Tatsumaki was a pain to get a hold of, surprisingly so given the popularity of OPM and her being the most prominent female character thereof. There are like two real figures of her released. The prize you showed, and then one that is going for 500 USD on secondary market. There does seem to be a really nice one with Tatsumaki and Fubuki drafted, I'm gonna get that if it turns out nice. But... I dunno when that will be, maybe 2023?
I only have one scale at the moment and the rest are prize figures. I have a Kaworu from Sega Premium, a Sakura Miku from Taito and the Bungo Stray Dogs Pop Up parades and they all look fantastic! Honestly some prize figures look so good that Id be willing to pay more than what they list at
I have lots of prize figures, but at this point, I feel like their cluttering up my room. I have limited space to put figures atm as I don't have cabinets, or many places to put a cabinet in my room. So I think I'm going to end up selling almost all of the prize figures, since I've fallen out of love with the vast majority of them. I'll probably only keep my Hinata Shoyo Master Stars Banpresto figure (the first figure I ever bought, in Japan at that), Giyu Tomioka Water Breathing FiguArts figure, the Shinso Hitoshi Ichiban Kuji figure, and maybe the Bulma Pink Ver. Glitter & Glamours figure too.
I found some sega bandori figures on Amazon! I have 2 and they are legit😊!! I am waiting on a figure from the sega bandori line and I’m waiting to order 2 more !! I definitely recommend, but they do go out of stock very quick! Which is quite unfortunate but they get a restock usually a week later 😆😆😆 EDIT: sega has a full store on amazon and they have different prize figure lines! Including hatsune miku 😊
For me, the most striking part about FigZero, are the translucent effects parts. My favorite FigZero so far being Nezuko Blood Demon. Plus it connects with my Tanjiro FigZero. Which is all kinds of awesome!
I lost sparks collecting PUP figures. Aside from ugly bases, final products seem off compared to the pictures GSC's used during PO period (e.g. Dazai, Kageyama, Hinata, Kenshin, Quints)
I have multiple Sega figures, both my Splash Parade and Tropical Summer Miku are really cute and I love their translucent detailing, and they're huge! On the other hand, my SPM Cirno figure has really ugly seamlines on the hair and the overall feel and look of the plastic seems really cheap. :( Seems to me they but a bit more effort in their premium Miku figures. I think I love my Furyu prize figs the most, both my Kaenbyou Rin and Reimu noodle stopper are adorable and look really nice even among my scales. My advice always is look at user pictures first before buying a prize figure, to see if you like them or not, since they are easily available in aftermarket in comparison to scales.
I started with amiibo and gundam model kits. Then I got interested in prize figure and now scale. I love prize figure and pop parade. If you can get them for retail.
Hey Gwen! Love your videos. ive been collecting figures for around a year. I don't know a lot yet. I think when you mention a figure, like you did with your first scale figure, if you could put a picture of it on screen! just nosey lol
Some great thoughts on prize figures! As someone with a collection of mostly prizes, here's my two cents: Taito is god. They make the best prizes, even though like you said they're mostly Rem and Miku lol. But I love Miku so that's not a problem. I don't have a lot of FuRyuu, just BiCute Black Miku and 1/7 Kokkoro, but I like them overall. Side note, F:Nex needs to learn that there's more price points than 19/20k yen lol. Bandai: I have several Banpresto figures, and they're the ones I'm most disappointed with. (PMMM SQ line specifically.) Lots of paint errors and messy lines, poor construction (my Madoka has a VERY loose torso), and boring white/off-white bases. Honestly black bases look way better than white/off-white in my opinion. Sega: my opinions are similar to yours. I have a maid Chino and she's cute but very simple. Pop Up: I have Leo Fortia and YYB Miku and they're ok. A little small compared to Taito prizes, and yeah I hate the bases too. YYB Miku came with several mold issues. I also really dont like how they take the same pose from scales and make them into PUPs. Just make a new pose please. But I really do like how they make PUPs for characters that dont often get figures, especially male characters. Honestly these days, prizes look so good. I recently changed jobs which resulted in a pretty significant pay cut, so I'm pretty much limited to prizes and the occasional nendo, maybe a scale here or there. Great video!
As for I started with Miku that Autumn Miku because i thought spending that much on a figure would make me feel Bad, but then i got a Pop up parade and then second Hand scales, then nendoroids. I thought i would never get a scale but you can get second Hand scales for the same price as prize figures. Still there are some characters that prize figures are SO good they can compare to a scale in quality.
I own quite a lot of Sega figures, I own all except for one of the Pripara figures. More for the serie and the characters than the quality. Most of them were bought used without a box on eBay for less that €15 a piece total though I’d say they’re alright. I haven’t had any large defects, mostly minor cosmetic ones. A bit of a sloppy paintjob and some glue on the lenses of glasses. As long as you can get them for cheap and love the character, I’d say get them
My best prize figure is my SegaPremium of Emma from 'The Promised Neverland'. SegaPremium, Taito and Banpresto WFC (yearly sculpting competition, mostly OnePiece & DragonBallZ) are best for me. FuRyu noodles stoppers are sooo G-O-O-D. My Hiei noodle stopper from them is amazing, he looks super fine!! Not sure if FiguartsZero can be considered prize figures, they are kind of expensive. Excluding Ichiban Kujis, where prices are dictated by people in Japan who resell them. A normal prize figure for me would be between ¥1,000 & ¥2,000. Ichiban Kujis are my go-to for scale figures I can't afford in the after market. e.g. Devil Homura from 'Madoka Magica' I normally go for the Ichiban Kuji Last One Prize because they have a better and more unique paint job/finish PopUpParades I agree can be a hit or miss. My Yuna (black) from 'Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear' turned out really good I am curious about Aniplex's ConoFig line that are supposed to be their answer to PUPs but they're weirdly more expensive.
the zero line has Sailormoon and those are reaching 200 bucks on eBay, luckily I found a sailor mercury figure arts zero for 29 bucks, and it's legit on eBay before it shot up the price. i also have tons of kuji figures and let me tell you, they are nice figures, once you see them in person like I got the Chika one and that is so pretty in person.
This might be a weird question but what shelf do you use in the back , my figure collection is way to big to just be sitting on my desk. I really need a shelf to store them but I don’t know what kind of shelf. Thanks for reading ❤😊also I love your videos they inspired me to start a collection
I only own one pop up parade, nezuko. I don't know if this is a common thing between them but she comes with a tiny clear support that holds her up so you can choose if you want the base. I have to say as fan of minimal bases its a bit annoying the base is basically the side of the figure lol
There's one anime shop within driving distance of my house, and they sell prize figures for 40$ and pop up parades for 75$. I have a pop up parade preordered on Amiami, with shipping, it's still less than 50$. It's insane, but is not having to pay shipping worth it on some figures? idk
I just got into anime figures and and only have 2 so far. They are Taito prize figures of Miku. I noticed Taito prize figures have cute faces! Some other prize figure brands have ugly faces. But Ive preordered 2 scale figures of Miku. I really wanted some bigger figures and prize figures are small. Having to wait a year sucks though! I really want all Nekopara pop up parade figures.
i love the figuarts zero line i have a few of them, the only downside to me is they can cost alot if you dont pre-order them like i have almost all the sailor moon ones im missing 3 of them and they sell for like $300 to $900

I have a Sega SPM figure. It looks terrible
for me Sega is the hit or miss because they sometimes get the face looking bad and sometimes really good and accurate.

I've never had a bad Pop-Up Parade, it's been pure affordable quality. Clean paint jobs, nice style, and interesting random character selection.

I love prize figures tbh. Some can be in some really cool poses, especially Kuji prizes. Plus u can get some characters who would never get a scale. Legit instantly pre ordered the gobta prize figure cuz I love him but know he will never get a scale. Plus I’m a broke manga addict
Just bought the taito jujutsu kaisen line, pretty happy with my purchase
Prize figures are really cheap and I love figures from Banpresto, Taito, and SEGA. They’re the best prize figures and I got a few prize figures ^^
The quality varies on the gashapon as well.
I have quite a few that are really well made.
Hi is possible to list all the stores you have mentioned on your video please. I keep spelling it wrong. Thank you
Taito and Bandai are my favs but I also love some pop up parades.
Oooohhh prize figures, that's a interesting topic ! Time to watch the video !
A happier Friday - check ✅
I think it's amazing that prize figures are literally prizes in Japan and you can gain them in a single use of the crane machine or only one ticket in the lottery (extremely improbable but the probability exists) making these the cheapest and best made figures possible for you to get !
They also come in such a amazing variety and some are exclusive for special moments in certain anime/manga which is also nice !
YESS THE MIKU PRIZES
25:54 I agree so much, I would even prefer just a small white circle tbh
As a broke high school student I really appreciate this, love your videos Gwyn!
Prize figures are cool at a good price, value for your bunk.
I've been thinking of modding blank bases with old games workshop terrain with prize figures to give them more of a statue aesthetic.
Ohhh waiting for this vid since the last comment that you replied. thankyou Gwyn! Also coreful lineup is usually good.
Haha it can definitely be harder to hold back when they are so much cheaper!
As a Jojo collector, Ichiban Kuji prizes are my bread and butter 😔🙌 Bandai is super hit or miss but definitely worth collecting!
Ditto with _Dragon Ball_ stuff.
Honestly some prize figures look so good that Id be willing to pay more than what they list at
I wish good smile would do a pop up parade hyakkimaru i can't afford the scale one😂
I’m addicted to collecting noodle stoppers. I try to win a few in crane games then wait for free shipping to pop on their website.
I SAW THAT MIKU RAMEN STOMPER ON A PHYSICAL STORE HERE AAAAAA im gonna buy it rn omg
I looove prize figures! Thank you for this vid!
my pop up parade Yang Xiao Long from rwby is amazing, it is such good quality for what I paid for it
Recently i really like GSC pop up parade figures 😆
For me, the most striking part about FigZero, are the translucent effects parts.
My favorite FigZero so far being Nezuko Blood Demon. Plus it connects with my Tanjiro FigZero.
Which is all kinds of awesome!
I lost sparks collecting PUP figures. Aside from ugly bases, final products seem off compared to the pictures GSC's used during PO period (e.g. Dazai, Kageyama, Hinata, Kenshin, Quints)
Thank you for video awesome as always. Can you do the prize figure vs scale of the same Character?
Very nice video indeed keep up for good work an you gotta make an updated figure collection
In such crazy heat waves how do you keep all the models from melting.
I like the video but I would like to have the link in this bio but I'm a new figure hobby collector that's all I have to say keep up the good work
All the figures shown are linked in the video description!
I didn't know about prize figures and went straight into scale. Not sure I can start now since I started collecting figma.
the attack on titan section is so nice!
Where do you buy from Furyu? I can't find the website :(
I have multiple Sega figures, both my Splash Parade and Tropical Summer Miku are really cute and I love their translucent detailing, and they're huge!
I preordered the pop up parade season 4 Eren and I hope it looks decent irl as it will be one of my first figures!
Hey Gwen! Love your videos. ive been collecting figures for around a year. I don't know a lot yet. I think when you mention a figure, like you did with your first scale figure, if you could put a picture of it on screen! just nosey lol
Some great thoughts on prize figures! As someone with a collection of mostly prizes, here's my two cents:
Taito is god.
I love the coreful line prize figures
Bought the whole jjk taito set it is so pretty but they don't fit in my shelf tho. Their bases are too big. Idk. but the quality is pretty good
I started with a scale and then fell down the prize figure rabbit hole
As for I started with Miku that Autumn Miku because i thought spending that much on a figure would make me feel Bad, but then i got a Pop up parade and then second Hand scales, then nendoroids. I thought i would never get a scale but you can get second Hand scales for the same price as prize figures. Still there are some characters that prize figures are SO good they can compare to a scale in quality.
I own quite a lot of Sega figures, I own all except for one of the Pripara figures. More for the serie and the characters than the quality. Most of them were bought used without a box on eBay for less that €15 a piece total though
I’d say they’re alright. I haven’t had any large defects, mostly minor cosmetic ones. A bit of a sloppy paintjob and some glue on the lenses of glasses.
As long as you can get them for cheap and love the character, I’d say get them
My goal is to collect all the autumn figures I have two so far 🤗🤗
Need more info on that 1/4 scale Asuka!
23:54 ALL I NEED IN MY LIFE IS THE KAWORU AND SHINJI FIGURE GOD THAT'S ALL IM ASKING FOR AAAA
Well, that's the first Miku I like and is a prize figure haha, but seriously the pose and outfit are great.
wait you can buy/preorder prize figures on amiami?? i can never find them on there
*The 1/8 Tatsumaki is supposedly rereleasing
Ichiban Kujis are my go-to for scale figures I can't afford in the after market.
e.g. Devil Homura from 'Madoka Magica'
I normally go for the Ichiban Kuji Last One Prize because they have a better and more unique paint job/finish
PopUpParades I agree can be a hit or miss. My Yuna (black) from 'Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear' turned out really good
I am curious about Aniplex's ConoFig line that are supposed to be their answer to PUPs but they're weirdly more expensive.
I haven't really bought from Sega, but I loooooove the demon slayer chokonose line!!
I started off with scaled figure so you aren't alone but my next purchase will have prize figures
the zero line has Sailormoon and those are reaching 200 bucks on eBay, luckily I found a sailor mercury figure arts zero for 29 bucks, and it's legit on eBay before it shot up the price. i also have tons of kuji figures and let me tell you, they are nice figures, once you see them in person like I got the Chika one and that is so pretty in person.
This might be a weird question but what shelf do you use in the back , my figure collection is way to big to just be sitting on my desk. I really need a shelf to store them but I don’t know what kind of shelf. Thanks for reading ❤😊also I love your videos they inspired me to start a collection
I pre ordered Chika too 🥺🥺 she is soo cute
I only own one pop up parade, nezuko. I don't know if this is a common thing between them but she comes with a tiny clear support that holds her up so you can choose if you want the base. I have to say as fan of minimal bases its a bit annoying the base is basically the side of the figure lol
Also i know a lot of people dont recommend this but u can find most price figures on amazon
28:19 and in my country she cost 120$...
I really want all Nekopara pop up parade figures.
i love the figuarts zero line i have a few of them, the only downside to me is they can cost alot if you dont pre-order them like i have almost all the sailor moon ones im missing 3 of them and they sell for like $300 to $900
I've bought a few prize figure and once I can find myself a job I'll be able to buy a scale
