It’s not too late! Fall is actually a great time to plant lots of things! However, depending on your climate, I would recommend getting them in the ground before mid-October or so. Hope this helps!
Loving my asters! I just started growing a couple years ago. The native asters are also an important host plant for some butterflies! Have you ever tried growing any from the seeds they produce?
Glad you love them! Especially on the single varieties, the pollinators love them! I have not personally tried growing them from seed. I’ve read that they can be a little finicky to grow from seed (unless they reseed themselves, which the native ones can do).
Beautiful! I just bought a few small plants at Home Depot. I'm in Houston, zone 9A and hope they last for years to come.
I hope they do to! Enjoy your new plants!
Beautiful Asters … love them ❤❤❤
Thanks!
Those asters are so beautiful 🌸🌝👍 I love to grow them in my garden as well.
Beautiful can we still plant asters in the ground and pot now to become perennial or its too late? But yours are beautiful
