I'm a naturalized American. It was a privilege to study and take the citizenship test over 40+ years ago. I love this country. I love God more. I also believe it was God's plan to bring me here where I became a Christian.
Happy 4th of July to you all. Please take a prayerful moment to thank God and remember those who fought for our country and built it on Biblical principles🇺🇸

I left Northpoint church during Covid when they went along with the mask mandare. I’m so happy I did. Shortly afterwards I saw a video of Andy uplifting the lgbt ‘Christians’ saying we should all strive to be as good Christians as they were. I’m sorry what?

Why doesn't Andy Stanley ever call out Democrats for their evil policies, behaviors, and threats to Conservatives and Christians? His stance on politics will do NOTHING to help Christians stand firm in their convictions. I think of all the martyrs who died for the Christian faith -- died because they refused to compromise their convictions. Those martyrs are heroes. Sadly, Andy is nothing more than a bad influence leading people to hell. // And I can say this bc my husband and I were members of his church for 19 years. I was on staff at North Point for three years. 80% of the staff voted Democrat during the last election. They were "FOR the LGBTQP+" community; they promoted transgender changes among church members (including youth); they allow cussing and shameful clothing in the youth environments because they "don't want to offend anyone." It's worse than you can imagine. Strong, Biblical convictions are NOT encouraged at any of Andy Stanley's churches.

Thank you for your courage in exposing the unfruitful works of darkness.Ephesians 5:11-14 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. I pray for the people sitting under his teachings.

It's more accurate to say that Andy is softer than he used to be. He's never been solid.
Due to the current spiritual climate he finally has the courage expose his true heart. By his own admission in college, he walked away from Christianity. For decades he has put up a front. Not very well known is when he tried to take over his father's ministry. This was happening at the same time and part of his parent's divorce. This is how North pointe came to be.
Andy Stanley is not Christian. This is not a condemnation by me. It is a biblical evaluation based on God's Word. God condemns, His children evaluate.

I heard a sermon from Charles Stanley on Bott Radio the other day. Charles stated that God loves us as we are. It then made sense to me that he supported and endorsed his son. Andy has taken that statement his father made to a whole new level. Being a Born Again believer who once was a lesbian for my nearly entire life i call out Mr. Stanley and ask him to repent for the darkness he has supported. It is DEMONIC.

In my Bible reading over the recent days it's been talking about all of the kings in the north, the South for Israel and so on who might would do some things for God and then later on in their lives either stray away or not get a rid of the high places or the Asher pole or whatever and that is exactly what Andy Stanley has done. He may be started out solid but then he has let some sort of things stay in his life and it has grown and turned so many people away. He will be held accountable to the Lord for this. He wants the Bible to say something else - loopholes that are not really there but they imagine they are but Jesus is no longer the Author but Andy Stanley is now the Author and interpreter too! It’s FAME and the danger that comes along with it! Christians are not “ popular” - that is how they are distinguished from non Christians. We Are Different because We Are Nonconforming! All of traditional Christianity rejects the Law and the Prophets. Despite God clearly saying that He is not to be worshiped using pagan rites, Catholics and Protestants pretend that Sunday services, Easter, and Christmas are Christian festivals, and that God is supposed to accept this false worship just because their motives may be innocent. God gave us the true Christian festivals in Lev. 23, but very few professing Christians observe them!

True Love is telling a person the truth even if it hurts the person hearing it.
God LOVES humanity enough to tell us the TRUTH that the ONLY way we can come to Him is through His Son Yeshua. And that our righteousness is as filthy rags to Him. We cannot be saved on our own merits. ONLY FAITH IN THE CRUCIFIXION, DEATH, BURIAL, & RESURRECTION IN CHRIST JESUS is what saves us. That is true LOVE.
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
      - Acts 4:12
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
      - John 14:6
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.”
      - John 14:1-4
For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
      And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,

We cannot be saved on our own merits. ONLY FAITH IN THE CRUCIFIXION, DEATH, BURIAL, & RESURRECTION IN CHRIST JESUS is what saves us. That is true LOVE.

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.”

The opening monologue compelled me to say that one thing we ought to remember about the America First idea is not about other countries should be treated poorly, but rather that people and government of the USA should put our citizens needs before the needs of others *JUST LIKE* other countries need to put their citizens needs above the needs of the citizens of the USA. I think that’s a perspective that is often missed by some people.

Love the episode but I don't understand why you felt the need to give any positive props to Andy Stanley (at the 12 or 13 minute mark). He is absolutely a false teacher and is actively working AGAINST the expansion of God's Kingdom. So why the positive comments? It did not seem typical/fitting for you and was a huge disappointment for me to hear you say it. I also don't think Tim Keller's legacy was a "net positive" to the rest of the Church. He actually did more harm than good (mostly in his last 10 years) and he "muddied the waters" far too much. His "Third Way" idea was nothing more than an evil ploy to move the Church to the Left. It was pure deception.

Andy seems to be full of compassion and love. It is very revealing when certain religious people get worked up over compassion and love being bestowed upon persons they don’t agree with.

Those are not the only two commands in the Bible. Many people are loving and yet wrong. What she’s saying is that if you believe in God’s absolute truth you have to stand up against those who preach against God’s truth. Abortion is wrong, there are 2 genders, marriage is between a man and a woman etc. it’s not loving to let someone live in a sinful lifestyle.

    • @tinaroyal5498
      @tinaroyal5498 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@kellyshore725 The problem here is not about standing up for God’s truth. The problem is the picking and choosing which parts of God’s truth to make people feel condemned for. Highlighting what we think are “big sins” while sweeping what we think are tiny itty bitty sins under the rug-never mentioning them or doing a dedicated podcast on them. It’s the hypocrisy of going on and on about how terrible certain sins are but not applying that same energy to the whole Law of God. The fact is that every one of us breaks the whole Law any time we sin no matter how small we think that sin is. Blessedly, those who have faith in Jesus are not under the Law of Moses but under Grace.
I don’t know a lot about Pastor Andy, but I have listened to a few clips that are considered controversial by some religious people, yet I have not heard Pastor Andy defend any particular sin. I have heard him respond with welcoming kindness to those who are often shunned by religious people. It’s like he understands that one filthy rag is really no better than another.

There is a time when you have to confronts lies with truth, with grace and truth, both hand and hand. I have a trans friend and have a developed relationship with her, but we've skirted around the subject of faith because she knows I'm a Christian and don't agree with lgbtqia and I don't want to offend and lose the relationship and opportunity to witness. I need both discernment and boldness to know when to speak and what to speak, because I want her to know j do love her, and I am sad that she hates who God created her to be, and I want her to know God's love so much. How do you gently bring things up in conversation without forcing confrontation. Obviously the gospel confronts our sin, but it doesn't have to be done in judgement and hate. Agree as I have a gay son that I want to discuss his feelings about this radical pride crap - no boundaries in the name of being gay!! What? Why?? I love my son and would absolutely lose it if I knew he participated and felt that it was acceptable to act this way in front of anyone!!! I don’t believe he would do something like this but I have to know how he feels about it. He walked away from the Christian faith while in college and when he “ realized “ that he was gay. I’m praying and holding out for Jesus to miraculously intervene. He can do this! I’m not giving up hope! But I’m not standing by my son if he is OK with these behaviors. I love my son - he is my “ best friend” but we don’t discuss his sexuality other than in low key terms. That’s too much - I don’t want to know as he doesn’t want to know about my intimate life. And these parents should have their kids removed from them and - this is disgusting. God have Mercy!! 😢

I would love someone to help me understand this convergence of faith and politics. I completely support your right to practice your faith and live by your doctrines as you see fit - where you lose me is having legal policy for all citizens dictated by your interpretation of a singular denomination of religion. Why should laws be implemented that dictate my life and my body and my family if I subscribe to a different religion or no religion at all? Realistically we do not live in a homogoneous puritanical Christian society and so why would our laws suggest that we are? I was raised Jewish and I would think it completely insane to legally require people to keep kosher or to disallow folks working on Saturdays.

So often, many pastors skim over the Bible and talk more about their feelings. Many things go wrong with that approach, and there's no Biblical substance to go by and live on if we continue to listen to them. We must always live by the scriptures - period. What the Word of God says about anything.

27:02 Here’s something for Pastor Stanley to ponder: if he were the pastor of his Baptist church in the decade before the Civil War, would he have said the same kind of thing about remaining neutral in terms of party affiliation? Because the Republican Party, as you know, Allie, was formed to oppose slavery; the Democrat Party had sold its soul to the Confederacy and perpetuating slavery at all costs. Would the same casual smorgasbord menu be the kind of freedom of choice Stanley would have advocated for then? Many Christians were in fact on the wrong side of history where this was concerned, to be sure. But the movement to end slavery came largely from the conviction of Christians from a variety of denominational backgrounds who ultimately coalesced around the abolitionist cause. My question to Pastor Stanley is, how are life-and-death issues like transgender surgeries (especially for minors) or abortion any less urgent or incumbent upon the believer to contextualize his or her faith and testimony with *action* in the moment in which we find ourselves?
This may take you aback just a step or two, Allie, but maybe I should ask Pastor Stanley this about his sympathies for the minions of progressivism who’ve been tearing down statues all over the country: Well, how about Stone Mountain, Georgia, right in your backyard? It’s a beautiful park, to be sure, but how is it that these huge visages of the leadership of the Confederacy (Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson) are still venerated or permitted to stare or glare down at the monument’s visitors, while reckless know-nothings destroy statues of Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant-who were on the right side of history? Where are the comfortable, “moderate,” suburban, churchgoing Democrat elites on that?
I could go on similarly about many of the principals to the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution at crunch time for the American Revolution-with patriotic founders such as John Witherspoon, John Hancock, John Jay and John Adams (I guess “John” was a pretty popular name those days! 😁), whose faith motivated them to revolt against British tyranny: Would Pastor Stanley have been hawking “nuance” and “collegiality” then?
I have a feeling that if Pastor Keller were still with us today, he’d be reminding us that while we do need to be warm and welcoming toward everyone without exception, we do not lose our edge in discerning the moral and ethical issues that demand our repentant obedience today-and Dr. Keller’s mentor, the late, great Dr. Francis Schaeffer, I’d venture, would say much the same thing along those lines.

None of the issues are political…it is all biblical. But when you have to choose a “side”…the choice is obvious and should be. We have to choose the side that is more closely aligned with biblical values because neither is exact. But in my mind I don’t understand how you could be a democrat and be a Christian. Said with love but you will not change my mind.

Omg! 😮 I had no idea his church was in Georgia. He's just 30 minutes from where I live. I just looked up the church address. I totally thought he was in Seattle, WA or the West Coast cuz he's so liberal and pro alphabet agenda.
I'm not sure about my pastors exact political ideology, but I do know he spoke out against the Democrats in light manner and preaches that people need to stop worshipping politics.

Not related to this podcast, but does anyone know how to find the extra content Allie Beth has mentioned is available on Blaze? She said she was doing interviews that would be behind the paywall. I have a subscription but cannot find anything other than the podcast that is available on TH-cam.
