Basilisk taming is a perfect use case scenario for the Zeppelin. I just did it with one and it was super easy. Keep in mind that my level 40 basilisk that took 2 eggs to tame, managed to do 4k damage to the zeppelin (out of 20k health) before being tamed. Just hover above one, drop the eggs and u r good to go.
Funny thing so today I got the Bob’s tail too, so I was finally able to start playing this because I didn’t wanna play it until I got the Cosmo spider and I spent the entire day trying to figure out where I used to keep my base at. After looking at other videos, I was able to find it but the crazy thing is that I used to keep my base on a rocky shore that was always empty and now on ark ascended the area is covered with rocks and trees, which is why I actually walked past it so many times.
I love the Cosmo, its so much fun!! Yeah I can completely understand that as the amount of trees and stuff they’ve added is insane. Especially around the fertile lake area🌳
@@clicktockclock yeah I’m back when I played aberration on solo with my karkinos, I got one to come out of a mushroom tree that is spawned on, and I was surprised of how weak that basilisk was after that my fear was gone

Hmm, it should eat them as it did in the vid. It will be aggroed when you tame it as it is very aggressive by nature. If it wont eat the eggs you can try and leave the area to the point where you dont see the trap. It will then lose aggro an re aggro when tou come back. Be warned though that the Basilisk that you have trapped might glitch out of the trap or even despawn in a worst case scenario if you leave the area.

I didn’t have the stomach to tame one back on aberration, I waited until Genesis to tame one with magmasaur eggs.
I did the same, was terrified of the Basilisk when it came with Aberration in ASE. Now its just another angry mob haha
