She’s so comical! And look how she’s grown! Everybody’s very cheery today & so happy to see each other. My heart is brimming over with love. Thank you, Adine! I haven’t looked in for several months….I’m especially thrilled to see our girl looking so beautiful, and her family so loving. The vista is beautifully green…and such a big sky with them spread out all over. Gorgeous! Oh she’s impossibly cute. Sending love to you all! ♥️♥️♥️
…and Khanyisa goes ‘trotting’ to meet her herd, just precious!! She’s lucky to have her sister, Timi, closer in age & many loving allomothers . Feel sad for Setombe’s unknown past bc it’d be easy to understand her. Glad she came to you & that she had Klaserie, who’s lovely. 💖
It’s encouraging to see Khanyisa thriving, enjoying life, being accepted and loved by her ellie family. I truly hope she has no memory of her early trauma. She’s developing into a feisty, exuberant ellie. Adine, Khanyisa and all the staff at the HERD have renewed my faith in humanity. Bless you all. 🐘💕🙏🏻
I love Khanyisas enthusiasm to hurry to meet up with the herd. She runs those little legs of hers to get there quick. It's comical in a way her little ears flapping and her eyes wide open while running her little legs. 🙂❤🐘
Limpopo looks just like her mama, she walks like her and everything. Mambo looks like Lundi. I have been watching them since Princess K came too the lodge and I'm picking up a lot about them finally. Lundi is such a good mom maybe because she has only her two wild kids too look after and she has also learned a lot from Tokwe and how she has mothered all of her children. I hope the pretty pink baby don't give Lundi as much trouble as her brother does but I don't know, baby K is just two years old and she is almost as wild as her brother lol
What an awesome video. Khaynisa is always excited to see her family in the mornings. Loved the "Run Forest Run". It's getting greener there. Thank you Adine for another great video.♥️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘♥️
I love Khanyisa's very joyous and happy playful antics. I noticed she was running, and she cut off an Elephant to her left, and that Elephant crashed into the Elephant to his left. I love how careful the older Elephants are with Khanyisa, and the other younger elephants. She feels so good and so happy she fairly bursts with joy. She loves her Elephant family and you Adine and all the special Carers. The Jabulani herd are all in very good condition.
💞🐘A walk, mini sprint and forage with the Jabulani herd, never fails to be a treat and interesting adventure. The on screen text always seems to pre-empt my thoughts, with factual nuggets and answers to those, 'I wonder if?'...questions. ⭐ The lush greens of the bush are now being showcased and enjoyed by the various animals. Lovely Setombe, is never too far from daughter Klaserie. Its's a bond without boundaries. Thank you Adine and team for sharing. ✨💝🌿🌾
It's almost like the elders when they turn half way around want to make sure that Adine and everyone is okay... the most touching thing that remains in my mind is towering , gentle so kind and yes majestic Jabu coming over to make friends with Khanyisia, little brave heart, and with her acceptance one day heading out he was the first one to meet her she gave him that unforgettable trunk mush, kiss, rub however you fancy to call it. What a great moment.. if only we can learn to be so forgiving and caring with one another.

Muy bien dicho, especialmente las orejas de los elefantes como abanicos. Tambien, le agradezco a Adine por sus explicaciones de la Manada su comportamento.
Khanyisa loves her herd! She runs to be with them. It's very sweet to see. And they love her, too. I'd say her integration into the herd a huge success. All these elephants are really great beings, loving and very accepting of humans and new baby elephants. It's really quite remarkable. Thank you for all your hard work, love, and dedication. Happy holidays to everyone!💕🎄🎁🎉
Thanks for the Setombe time. I feel a special affinity for her as I am also older, wider and slow to trust. I am so glad she has her herd, and her daughter, and all of you to make her feel safe and loved, while allowing her her space.
It seems as if Setombe suffers from PTSD. No doubt from her past. I am glad her daughter gives her so much comfort especially when she is having a tough time .May all elephants and their humans at HERD have a blessed holiday season!! ❤❤🐘🐘🐑🐑🐰🐰🐕🐕❤❤🌹🌹
These elephants are so amazing! They love their families and their offspring stay near them. They are so human like, except for the hateful humans that want to poach them. Laws need to be stricter on poachers. Examples need to be made. Love the videos!!
Adine is so soft spoken I can barely hear a lot of what she says. Which is sad because her words contain so much wisdom I don’t want to miss any of them.
Setombe isn't or doesn't want to be an allomother, but that's fine. Instead she reminds me of a school monitor, a tough person (can be a woman) who watches children in schools as they leave one classroom and head for another. Sometimes the kids can act crazy, loud, laughing, having too much fun, and the monitoring woman in the hall has to keep an eye on the kids so they don't cause any trouble. This person is fair and respected, and so I bet Mambo and Zindoga respect Setombe, too. It must certainly makes her feel like an important part of the herd! :)
It does my heart good to see Baby K soooo happy to join the herd.... She was orphaned , lost , heartbroken and badly injured but look at her now , one would never know it unless they knew her background ....... You are all Earth Angels ♥️
Love all the great information in this video! I wish I could be walking beside Adine and learning from her but this is the next best thing. I saw Kumbura hip check Zindoga to keep him from running up on little pinky!😂 She loves that baby as much as we all do.
Little K has a bounce in her step this morning.. you can tell she’s a happy girl!! Good luck with your new trees….you might have to post 24/7 security cameras…..way to many elephants in the vicinity… I bet they all watched them go in! 😂😂 …. And then laughed among themselves..🌲🌲🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘!
Thankyou so much Adine for your posts & comments. It means a lot to all of us trying to navigate though this global pandemic. I get so much joy from following all of these lovely elephants & their carers. Best Wishes to you all & Merry Christmas.
I would love to see Kumbora have her own calf, she would make a wonderful mother!! That would make for an epic TH-cam viral video as well!! Fish still has a huge place in my heart for his strength and tenacity that helped him pull through the broken leg. There is something so wise about him...about all of them really
Hi Adine :) You said it is difficult to see all the herd in the bush but you do a great job and seeing any of Jabulani herd is wonderful:) Khanyisa I need to borrow some of that happy energy of yours :)
It is so cute when Khanyisa runs to meet her Herd Family its tail straight It was a great idea to have highlighted Dame Setombe's character and background as well as her close ties with her daughter Klasserie and protector Sebakwe It enables us to better understand why she is not the Matriarch and explains her behaviour Thank You for this great video
Watching these beautiful animals as they graze and wander their feeding grounds, greeting one another, hearing their vocalizing with one another, birds chirping in the background, is like the most relaxing peaceful place to be. I dearly love these videos.
07:50 Imagine, many thousands of years in the future, archaeologists finding ancient footprints preserved in the clay that clearly showed humans and elephants had been walking alongside one another. I wonder what they’d make of that?
I love watching your video's. I could watch them all day. (Laughing) Some days I do!@ I think elephants are such beautiful animals. They seem to be more human than most humans. Thank you so much for sharing.
Little Khanyisa is so adorable, sweet, beautiful, intelligent & playful. 😊💜🌸🐘 I love you guys so much. 💜 Little Khanyisa always brightens up my days & she inspired me a lot. 💜
Me agrada ver la manada de elefantes y KHANYISA 🐘 como la principal ADINE nombra a cada uno de los elefantes los Señores cuidadores también van camino con toda la manada KHANYISA hermosa y rosagante con sus orejas al viento
Every day seems so full of purpose for them...they gather and enjoy each other's company and feeding together. Such beauty in their relationships. So quiet. Watching them is truly therapeutic.
It's really interesting to watch these older videos describing Setombe and Klaserie (and how they don't interact with Khanyisa as much as the other females) compared to today and how they interact with little Phabeni. We really learn so much by watching this herd live and interact with each other and learning more about them through you. 🐘
Every time I watch the elephants, tears come out of my eyes without me realizing. At first I didn't make the connection, but now I know it's because of the emotional connection I feel for them. And I'm not even there.
Loved watching her run with her ears out. Thank you for sharing the wilderbeast they are beautiful. Sad story I am sure on Setombe as she is beautiful. Can you explain how the ranking works for the females ax I understand through bulls. Thank you for sharing and educating us.

Nothing like a bit of a jog to catch up with your herd first thing in the morning, wish I was as energetic as Khanysia first at ,6am !!!! takes me hour's to get going !!!
Kahnyisa was older than Phabeni ! but she was going with every one !! We can see that Phabeni needs so much a mum he is no one second without Setombe !! how much time ?? he is not 1 year yet !! when he will be 2 he will run too !! Funny to be back with Baby Khanyisa !! it ‘s amazing to watch how much she grew up within 2 years !!!4 years old is a great step in their body growth !!! 💕🐘💕🥰👼
I don't think Setombe would be alarmed the slightest if Adine surprisingly popped behind her. Both Setombe and Klaserie are in very friendly terms with her. And it's probably an impossiblity any way. Having so keen senses, and at times young ones to protect, they probably have a good idea where everyone is. That would be a very useful herd skill.
They can definitely be startled - I remember an older video where Adine was coming up behind Klaserie while she was feeding and accidentally stepped on a branch, causing it to snap. Klaserie seemed alarmed and immediately turned around with her ears flared. Adine was very quick to reassure her!
It is amazing how much Khanyisa has grown. You can see it now as she is taller than the fence in the yard. Last year she was hard pressed to reach over top! still, tiny when walking with the others. Such a happy little one! ❤️❤️❤️
If I remember they go between 10-20 miles per day out in the bush. I may be wrong, but I think Adine goes out with them and then goes back to the compound. The Carers go where the HERD goes.

Jabu,Tokwe and Limpopo always ready for a hello to Adine. Glad Setombe has her Klaserie and elephant friends to give her comfort. Khanyisa is cute with her pink ears flapping and can't get to her family fast enough rush! ❤
I’m so glad Setombe left what ever her life was in Zimbabwe and ended up with this lovely family . As we all learn from our mothers / parents maybe she didn’t have that passed on to her and she doesn’t know how to behave with the other females.
Hi Adine and the elephants too. I thank you Adine for always explaining what’s going on and who is who and what they are doing too.🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤️🙏🏻. You are always very informative with each Elephant and their personalities too. I’d give anything to come there to see the elephants and be able to touch them but it’s just not possible so, I do thank you for the videos and information. God bless you and the elephants along with the Carers too. Have a safe and blessed night. Sue(Florida, USA)❤️🙏🏻🥰😊😘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🌴👼🌸🦋🎅🎄❌⭕️❌⭕️
She's such a little darling isn't she💕I think although she is interested in the new trees she will listen to you when you tell her no if she is getting a bit too boisterous with them👍
I never saw the obvious with klasserie's tail. It is rather slim on hair at the bottom, and the young bulls play fighting would cause that. Iv prayed for rain for your land and it's happened. The Lord is bountiful, even when our preys aren't answered. Setompane had trauma in her past. I bet it came from human hands. I'm so relieved she has a companionship w/both klasserie and Sebakwe. I think Sebakwe is the dad to klasserie. That she was ranked in w/the bulls and Somopane took her place really tells you her true colors. She is strong, and quite confident in her own powers. She may even be a tomboy. But when someone has done trauma to you it is there forever. So there she is a very aware, sensitive, strong but wary elephant that luckily found her place in the sun with the HERD. The love she and her daughter have is so endearing.
I believe all the Elephants are locked up in the stables every night (the place where there's the big red roof) and Khanyisa stays in the orphanage where the 2 little sheep (?) stay.
my sweet baby girl shes our beautiful baby girl, full of life full of happiness she loves her family and thats ALL she cares about, the "little" things in life that matters, my or OUR sweet princess khanyisa. such a beautiful doll she is, this cute light brown with pink undertones her skin is of an angel we love you khanyisa forever and ever🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💖💖
Meisiekind is full of joy to be with Adine, Carers and her Ellie family. She has that happy step. So nice. Thank you all, for then and watching this now 2yrs. later.😊
ADINE , THERE IS A MOVIE THAT CAME OUT LAST YEAR CALLED HOLIDAY IN THE WILD, FEATURING ROB LOWE, AND IT IS A GREAT MOVIE. IT IS ON NETFLIX NOW AND I THINK YOU WOULD ENJOY IT. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU ALL ARE DOING FOR THESE MAGNIFICENT ANIMIALS.

I’m so glad Setombe left what ever her life was in Zimbabwe and ended up with this lovely family . As we all learn from our mothers / parents maybe she didn’t have that passed on to her and she doesn’t know how to behave with the other females.
Transmite alegría.... Nos da felicidad!!
You need to plant sweet potatoes all over the jungle🥰🥰
Terrific idea. I wonder how labor intensive that would be. Volunteers?
Angel Khanyisa you are amazing and extraordinary babyma.Adine Ma'am and the team thankyou very much for this wonderful video.
I love your videos of the herd, Khanyisa warms my heart.
😱💖 She looks 🌸 Ridiculously Pink 🌸 today!!!😂💞💕💝💖💗💓💘
Love your closed captioned narrative :-)
It amazes me that the Elle’s seem to be wondering around, but they still seem to head in the same direction. These animals are just amazing!!
“Run, Forest run” Aldine, that’s hilarious 😂 😂😂 I love watching sweet girl run 🥰 Question: how do you protect these beauties from poachers?
I believe all the Elephants are locked up in the stables every night (the place where there's the big red roof) and Khanyisa stays in the orphanage where the 2 little sheep (?) stay.
Thank you Adine for sharing their individual personalities, etc. I truly enjoyed this!
