- TF continues to take advantage of the breezy conditions to practice his hovering skills at sunset. ♥ And TFT will walk over close to TF's nest and the boys have a long visit with some chick chat! When TF decides that he had enough socializing, he clacks at TFT who then turns around and heads to the left back to his nest :) Thank you for watching!

Thank you, dear Lady Hawk, for this beautiful video showing some of the "early-days" socializing between these two young males, who won't have any of the same for a good handful or so years once they fledge and experience their juvie years at sea in South America. Being neighbors as chicks is so special. Hopefully, their subconscious minds are storing their brief encounters with each other and when they return (with safe foraging and good fortune) they will remember the "graces" that they have learnt from their dads, especially, to make a good impression on future possible mates.

Wow great job TF!! 🥳😍🎉I had no doubt that he would be an excellent hoverer (and then flyer) I don’t know why I thought that but he just seems to have that personality doesn’t he? 😁, I love our precious adorable albies 😍🥰😍 and I’m so happy they go to chat a bit 😊 (clack chatter but still they minded each others company for a little bit all the same! 🥰) I wish they could have become better friends. Anyway thank you for sharing Lady Hawk! TF just needs a little more strength I think- as it seems like his pectoral muscles were eventually fatiguing a bit, and then he’s ready to take on the world! 😊

Hello Donna - M15 and F23 are back at the nest and have been there for a couple of weeks. The cams are not live yet so as soon as they are - I will be covering them again! The nesting season for SWFL begins Oct 1st.
