Hey everyone! Thanks for watching the video! I forgot to mention timestamps are in the description, and also I messed up the cut at 4:20, what happened is I killed Omen on the right and then peeked too widely to the left and put myself at a disadvantage against the enemy Jett. Also don't forget to let me know in the comments what videos you'd like to see from me. I want to give you guys the most relevant and helpful content possible. Again, thanks for the support!
Not true. There are some abilities that make noise, Phoenix's flash is one of them, you can hear the snap of the fingers before he does it. Otherwise the skill would be OP and have no counter considering how fast it pops.
I’m not sure if it completely applies but from Overwatch we describe game sense as: The ability to tell what your opponents are going to do next, and how you should respond
Thank you for the kind words man! I know there's a lot of new players so I'm trying to get these guides out so people can learn and stay to the game. I don't want people to try it out, get frustrated, and leave 😩
Great video. My mechanics are great, but my game sense was really where I was lacking. I watched this at night and I am going to record all my games from now on and VOD review like crazy.
You got it man! Best thing about this is you can review, decide to change something, test it out, and if it was the wrong call, try something else. Eventually you learn to make the right decisions through trial and error. This is something I still continue to work on today!
It is nice to see that you are helping everyone in the commentsection! I think it is sad how educational channels like this often can’t use the comment section because of meme comments and stuff like that... Keep up the good content!
TBH only issue is theres like no meta as of yet for most players so up until you're playing high level its just kind of random and harder to develop gamesense. On the bright side, 5k hrs in CSGO translates really well to Valorant gamesense at high level since its all CS:GO players rn anyways
Most players are not from CS:GO tbh. Every game genre is interested in the game right now. No matter what level, there are habits that players have, whether it be them playing the same spot every round or a guy that always tries to flank. A simple example to think is if there's an enemy completely carrying them, find out where he plays, and just hit the other bomb site.
Thank you so much. Your videos always help me. People critically underrate thinking over decisions in games like this one. Ever since I started evaluating what I do i have been contributing much more to my team. GG
My aim is okay-ish since I have played games like Overwatch where you needed it. However, I have never played cs:go before, so I was very confuse to know what even a and b is and why do we have to plant bomb and what is attack and defense rounds lol. This guide help me a ton on furthering my understanding of this game, so thanks!
5:52 I think it was quite obvious that Omen sat in that spot, because your sage got killed by him, he even showed on map, plus he didn't jump down nor teleport (idk if you can hear omens non ult teleport), so there was no sound of him leaving that spot
Thank you my friend, it means a lot! I'm trying my best to improve and get things out as quick as possible (while balancing graduate school lol) so that people can jump right into the game.
Playing multiple games + Being able to objectively analyze decisions that where made = Game Sense Being able to take in constructive criticism speeds up the process because others tend to have a different perspective on how you see things. All of this experience and correctly establishing good and bad decisions (regardless of overall outcome) will make decision making second nature... the creation of Game Sense.
I don’t know if this is a known thing but could be useful on Jett you can use uplift or the up ability and the dash at the same time and go up and forward at the same time
Yes sir! I've been doing this a lot during fights, shooting at one spot and then quickly dashing up and forward to reposition and catch them off guard.

Hey, first video I see of yours, just a quick tip: when you edit the audio cut a little bit the bass frequencies so your voice will become more clear and understandable
@@DrZora Otherwise you can try a free software called the levelator that automatically mixes the audio, many famous youtubers use it, see if you like the results :)
I'm the only one left in my team, defending a site, 2 enemies left, they killed my teammates near the site, but a few seconds pass and they didn't peek. I thought they must of rotate to the other site. I ran across the map to the other site, and saw one of the enemies nearing the site. Instead of shooting, I used my recon arrow. The enemy backed away upon seeing the arrow. They know where I was, and try to hold the angle. 10 seconds left. Instead of peeking, I let the timer run out.
I don't plan on making one but the best weapons to use are Vandal, Phantom, Spectre, Ghost, Sheriff depending on your economy (and snipers if you are into that and can afford it)
In the last situation, what if Omen was waiting for sage to peek the doorway knowing that she would go after him? How can you make sure the decisions you make are 100%?
No play is 100% guaranteed, but there's 2 things to note here. First is how low the timer is, if Omen risks peeking behind and Sage isn't there, he loses the ability to plant and its game over. Second is that Omen doesn't know for sure if Sage stayed short or moved over to site, knowing that Omen doesn't have time to rotate. All these factors put Omen at a disadvantage and the best option for him is to book it to site, hope for a plant behind the boxes on site. Taking all that in, there's nearly a 99% chance Omen is running towards the site rather than waiting for Sage, so this peek was a very high percentage play.
@@DrZora That's so crazy, I'm not much of a gamer, but valorant looked cool so I said I might as well try. Gotta find something to do in the house these days lol

The first mistake sage made was moving away from the bomb she could have easly gone to attackers spawn and hold the bomb angle perfectly killing everyone trying to get to it
Also an option, but I think Omen was close enough that if Sage moved to the attackers spawn, Omen would've seen her cross and she would've lost the mystery factor of her position. Ideally, she would've pushed further as Omen ran to grab the bomb have a better angle from A short
