Thank you! This is awesome. If possible, please bring more content like this. I really appreciate it. And especially the animation part is what appeal me the most, and I think many people would be interested in that too, it's very useful for "explainer videos". After Effects is the leader on that matter and there are not many materials/tutorials about how to replicate those type of animations/rigging with Davinci, let's say a character walking, smiling, waving a hand etc. Again, thank you very much for this.

Have to agree with Ultralow. Animation of vector graphics after creating them would be dead cool.

really been enjoying your video tutorials for davinci resolve. I feel like you explain things the best out of the people i've watched! Thank you for making these! I've been trying out some video editing for fun for the games i've been playing. Nothing fancy but it's been fun learning! :)

What a great tutorial. Loved it. I will try this for sure including the animation you showed in the other video.

That might be my favorite TH-cam intro of all time.
I didn't know about Instances! That's a great tool to have, going to need to rethink my approach to some things now.
Thanks for all the great videos! I started on DaVinci about a year and a half ago and whenever I ran into a problem, your name was right there with a solution. At this point, whether I need the info or not, I'm clicking just to see the friendly face that helped me along my journey.
    Appreciate you being here!

I'm learning so much from your videos! Love the cartoon artwork tutorials and animation. I'm creating a character for my Medical Lab Science Academy channel and this has been quite helpful. Thank you!

For anyone struggling with nodes because they’re use to layers:
Instead of going from left to right like Casey did, maybe trying building UP instead! I saw someone do that and it helped my stupid brain a lot 😂😂😂

How could you get shady part always follow basic body shape without having to redraw each polygon?
    It would also be great
If you made a tutorial on parenting and rigging up a character with Inverse Kinematics

Is it possible to animate the individual handles?

  • @raguellagrande7344

I wris encourage vector artists to also try importing SVG files exported from their favorite vector art program.
Most of the time if you properly name each layer they will be vfc grouped by color and easy to manage.
Animating is what feels like the hard part, imo

I was thinking ways to do 1D art, like lines and dots, to be used on a hud. Would you just use them as 2D objects or are there other options?

    • @anttiryts
      @anttiryts 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

One option is to create a transparent PNG in photoshop.

hey Casey, I've had some trouble with text wrap in davinci resolve recently; unlike in after effect, we certainly do that, but in Davinci Resolve it's really time-consuming that I do that manually in the styled text box

Very cool! Assuming that animation happens through keyframes, right? What if I make it 10 seconds long, but then change my mind to make it 30 seconds long? My experience with fusion clips is that they can't be extended. What's up with that? Thanks in advance

If it's Fusion related, watch Casey's 'FUSION THE ULTIMATE BEGINNERS GUIDE' video first. I watched that one several times to get a handle on Fusion when I first started with Resolve a little over a year ago. It is excellent.
