I've been following for years, read "Blueprint" and "Art of resilience" and I cannot get enough of you Ross. Because of you and David Goggins, I am planning on doing a 100km run, ironman and 10km swim to an island. Thank you Ross for changing my life.
@@Nagatoobito you have to understand the news is a business....they'll show what people are interested in.....if ppl are interested in what celebrities ate for lunch, that is what will be done... IF this guy can gain enough traction like he did with his last video, sure they'll cover that too
One thing that shouldn't be taken for granted is how you always talk so gracefully about your supporting crew, putting them under the spotlight as they deserve. I follow a lot of athletes that play individual sports or go out on solo adventures and unfortunately they very rarely talk about their crews (or are given the chance to talk about them).
I dont know if yall will see this but I wanted to say thank you to Ross and your team for everything yall have (and continue) to teach me. I have followed yall since the beginning of the great british swim and have learned so much. Mainly the concept of putting in work through gratefulness and happiness. Through every book and every podcast you have done, i am so grateful. Last year in July i almost lost my life and was in hospital for weeks and this year on the anniversary of my survival my mom almost died. Thankfully we are both alive with only minor issues. I have recently come back into triathlon and sport in general. I have done so thanks to the teaching of being grateful of what my body can do a lot of which was learned from you and your team. I wanted to say thank you to yall all, even if you dont see this. So thank you.
It was a very good idea to share the unseen footage, thank you for thanking your team immensely as you have done. We are nothing without those guys in the background. Congratulations!
Just wanted to share that since watching you swim like a madman (started when I saw you do the great british swim) it's inspired me to try longer distance swimming. Was never a swimming fan and always struggled with it until I realised (from videos where you've talked about technique) that I was using way too big of a kick and going anaerobic pretty much every swim. Now I'm focusing on my stroke and limiting my kick, and it's totally changed my relationship with swimming. Last week I did my longest non-stop swim ever, which was 2.5km (previous was 500m! lol), and felt so good I did another 2.5km a couple days later at a higher pace. Honestly never thought I'd be able to do that, so thanks for the inspo and tips mate! Next landmark distance is 5km!
It made me so happy to see your emphasis on gratitude and not only that but to see you accomplish this in my home of the wonderful territories just warmed my heart
Your positivity is so contagious, found myself smiling at your crazy positive takes on a lot of the really brutal things you went through! Your appreciation for the team around you also speaks volumes for the type of guy you are, consider me along for the ride brotato!
I've talked to all my friends about you and suggested they watch your videos for inspiration and motivation. You're a superhuman, dude! Always positive, smiling, well mannered and kind. Thanks for all you've done for all the random people you'll never meet or know. Lots of us really appreciate what joy you bring to this world! Almost forgot to shout out your amazing team and support system. Seriously impressive from bottom to top! What a great group of like minded people
Your achievements are something to be proud of and it was an honor to watch it.. The best part is watching how passionate you are and how much you care for others. Be proud of yourself and keep inspiring people to do more. ~Josh M
Sitting here feeling sorry for myself after a Spartan Trifecta weekend, this is exactly what I needed. Ross continually does the unimaginable, with enthusiasm and GRATITUDE! I’m tryna be like you Ross
You deserve a ton of views on your video in the Yukon, mate! We love your content, and when you collaborate with other TH-camrs. Your positivity is truly inspiring! And it’s hilarious how you laugh after taking a kick from a heavyweight MMA champion 😂💪🏻 Seriously, you’re THE legend-especially after swimming over 500 km in the Yukon (I live in Whitehorse, and no one swims in it!). Cheers!
You are the definition of "mind over body". What you have achieved is unbelievable and there are just a handful of people on this planet who are able to do similar. Hats off my guy!
You did it again with another banger video!!! Did another incline treadmill walk while watching it and just wished it was longer. I can feel your appreciation/gratitude to your team and that is what makes this video so special. Still don’t think we’ve seen a Ross Edgley 24-hour, 10K eat, 10K calorie burn swim video.
This is incredible, love watching the polished documentary of the swim but even better to see the nitty gritty of what goes on behind the scenes. So lovely to see such gratitude for all the team too. Ross you are a great story teller and your energy is infectious. Can't wait to see what the next 'impossible' thing you'll smash 👊🏼
Legend and modest with it which makes you even more likeable. Just finished 'The Art of Resilience'; amazing read and so many stories, anecdotes and gems of information. You may or may not have any idea how inspirational you are to do many people so when is there going to be 'An evening with Ross Edgley' tour of the UK? 😊
I really want to swim with Ross one day, I am also planning on swimming the channel and Ross is a big inspiration for me as someone who's been swimming for most of my life.

The first video is really beautiful and showed a lot of the journey, but no one can feel what is was like to swim for so long as you just did because we have never done or seen something like this before. There is no way for us to judge it Showing us the preparation, the tools, the little tips and tricks but also the seeing the damage and recovery is what allows us to connect with your challenge. More than that, it IS the challenge Otherwise we just think you are superhuman and take it for granted. Seeing all the technicalities and your suffering both mental and physical makes it real for all of us You are superhuman anyway though lol, an unbreakable mind! Congrats
Loved this behind-the-scenes footage. More to come I hope? For sleep deprivation on these efforts, do you find that the hardest point is actually in the middle (sort of 36-ish hours in), and that your body/ mind just goes into autopilot after that? Or does it get progressively worse?
Doing something out of ordinary alongside such people, you must be the luckiest person in what conditions you found yourself.
