I was getting a little bit worried with my oil level too! 😂 Oil on the dipstick was at half way point because I have the 2wd model and Oil Pressure was low unless you rev it up, but after doing some research I found that it’s normal.
At 6:00 in you didn't need the cap wrench because you did it wrong. You're supposed to remove that small metal plug first and pre drain the oil and than you use the cap wrench and you don't have oil pouring all over the place.
I’m looking at first gen Tundras right now, do you feel the 3.4 is a major difference in driving experience from the 4.7? Is it something that can be lived with?? Curious to hear your thoughts.
That's a great engine but the 3.4 engine is a proven 800+ engine... not saying the 5.7 won't hit that but the 3.4 has proven itself... and so has the 4.7 5UZ engine
Thanks for video I have 2000 Sr5 tundra V8. How much was oil at dealer. Thanks to ur channel I’m buying any parts I change on tundra from dealer. 174,000 miles
Save yourself a lot of money on oil changers. Watch project farm. He tests the year oil change theory. And flat out proves otherwise. He has great videos with very useful info. Changed the way I do things for sure
Great video sir!
O.E.M from Toyota for the filters, can’t go wrong.
I totally agree 👍🏼

nice to know i’m not alone on this one.. 👍🏼
Same here
I love the 3400 four cam engine.
I'm driving a 2005 Toyota sequoia limited with 408,000 miles my family love it
408K!!! That’s awesome.. i’m impressed, ever have any issues?

It must be the design of the lift kit. Move has a SUPERLIFT kit on it and the oil doesn't touch anything at all when I drain it.
It might be more than 5 quarts due to the oil filter I'm out oil it holds in it
For sure 👍🏼

Theres a gang of people with 3.4s trying to supercharge or 4.7 swap. The 3.4 is a great motor but a dog compared to the v8
@@ALItm1 okay thanks for your input!! It will probably be a daily if I go 3.4 but I like the thought of having the power there if I need it.

What a cool channel, I subbed.. Thanks!!
Are you filming with an iPhone 11 Pro?
No, I wish.. I really want to go get one..
You think the 5VZ filter placement is bad... Haha. You should see the filter placement on the 1FZ-FE. It's "brilliant"
Just googled it, definitely an interesting spot.. i’ve always thought that engine was a bit weird.. but still a good engine.. 👍🏼
👍
Thanks!!
