The good side of making Duo Byleth's support as a drive effect instead is in some circumstances way better because it could never be stolen from the likes of Tina or F!Nergal, or even supressed by S!Thor or M!Loki (and in the future they would surely be more and more units like them...). So, in a way her effect will always be safe from this kind of "powercreep" or clash between visible buffs that we are facing in the current meta
This is the best batch we've had in a long time. Gatrie COOKED, dayum. He wants to run Hardy Fighter with a Defensive special. His weapon means even if foe initiates on Turn 1 (like in ARD, for example) he still gets his special. I believe he is the only armor in the game who can do this.
With Seteth being this good, imagine how broken mythic or Legendary Seteth, or Cichol will be with an upgraded spear of assal (or his dragon form), and the ochain shield?

Minor 🤓 moment, but Ullr's hit-count ceiling with brave support would be 5, not 6. The potent hit itself can't get a brave attack added onto it, only regular hits. Still enough to dumpster just about anything though.
If you give Dieck Laguz friend, he can counter attack with Aether with his first attack. Also why wouldn’t he pierce enemy dr if he used pavise with Laguz friend :0

I‘ve been using him for Arena constantly so I‘m super excited to have him not lose as often anymore🤣 plus he is one of my Top 5 TH Characters… only people like Shez oder Claude beat him. Anyway I‘m very happy and wish there‘ll be a alt like Cichol for him someday
Really wish deick followed the Gerik refine glory of Having axe mercenary leaders be decent support units. Like having Incite + Charge or Reinsnap built in too would have been great (since his mercenary team are composed of different 1 RNG movement types)
And once again, a unit I love and have +10, Duo Byleth, gets a mediocre refine. For the love of all that is good in the world, just ONCE let me have a unit I like get a broken refine 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I expected Seteh to get great new toys so no surprise for me there, but I am SUPER relieved that they didn't give him the Aversa treatment. Meanwhile for Caellach, Dieck, & Gatrie I'm both relieved & officially hyped for. I was worried those guys would get majorly screwed over, Caellach & Dieck especially since they aren't popular, but glad Intsys spared them.
The only refine I was “exited” for was Ullr’s because she is really likely to color-share with Ivy, in the next remix banner, and I want her to be good just in case I end up getting her more than Ivy.
@@migu6528 yeah you’re right. I just wished she give out some kind of support. I rely heavily on galeforce and was hoping she provided tempo or special acceleration to the team. Thanks for the input, for now I’ll just give her a different special and see how she does.
@@Ace-pj1ul Celica ring could be pretty good on her in that case if you don't already have it on another galeforcer other then that it would have been nice if she had any support at all, and her combat will likely fall off eventually but she seems strong right now.
Yoo Tacho, might be under the wrong video, but since we got many seasonal refines and got the 20 seasonal tickets maybe a video with the best seasonal refines would be nice to see and I say this as a long term Player, because maybe we have some units in there worth trying to get in these 20 tickets. Many people can get use out of it
I actually have a bunch of the units this time around, so I was curious to see what they'd get. It's been some time since I dropped Dieck from my Arena Assault teams, haven't looked back. He just isn't exceptional enough anymore, he'll definitely be more usable now but I'm not taking him out of the Reserves since I already have Rinkah running around. Duo Byleth I'm glad will be a bit stronger, I'm just worried she's still not fast enough. Was she supposed to be a mixed attack & support? Legendary Claude looks good, having never put Deadeye on him I'm wondering if that Special is redundant on him now for all but scoring purposes. Lastly, Seteth, great support, might take my +10 Seteth out of Reserves one day if he's a Tempest Trial bonus unit or if I think I need to replace someone.
Like for combat it's meh, but the support makes up for it tbh. I dont get why people on reddit wanted his battle ability to be busted as heck AND his support ability .....when he's a main pool demote lol. You really can only have one or the other with those units. 3H Stans were getting too spoiled tbh.
Bringing cracked support to the table is better than being a combat god imo, since those tend to be outclassed in as little as _the very next banner_ while support units being godly means they're probably on your teams forever
I just tested my +10 ullr was able to kill my Ar D E! Ike that was supported by two mythic heroes and Fallen maria. Also she will be a very good AoE user.
I don’t think seteths refine is the best it’s good for support but I feel like he’s lacking some super important things but if you’re just using him for support than he’s amazing but I think he’ll die super fast

Seteth is very perfect support for The new Eirika. Giving all those stats and extra damage is exactly what she needs.

The summer rhea refine makes very little sense considering her low defenses.
Imagine 4 Seteth: +16 stats, -28 reduce/dmg and heal? Am I wrong?
He's actually granting 8+ stats to allies (4 in the white text, 4 in the green), so 4 Seteths would give someone +32 to stats

Lots of people are dunking on Seteth but I think it's legit. His own combat is kinda ass but meh.

Most ppl, myself included, used him as a support unit anyway which is where he's best at, so his refine is perfect actually.
