We watched the glaciers appear in the window in that first 'cabana' by the pool. It was amazing.

The Majestic Princess reminds me of my cruise on the Sky Princess in January 2020. I love that ship.

More excited than ever. Leaving at 4:00am tomorrow morning Pacific time so in approx.11 hrs. Thanks for the tour. This is different from any Princess ship I've been on before. I think I've been on 5 different ships. Was this ship regularly in Asia originally? I'll let you know my impressions when I get back!

Thank you for the tour of the ship. It is nice that Stanley has a little girlfriend now to enjoy his cruising adventures with. Where are the Rangers located at during glacier bay and where is their booths located at for selling things about glacier bay.
They are in the Hollywood Conservatory everything. Thank you!
We weren't able to enjoy the Conservatory area all week due to a private function going on the whole week. Blocked off both sides. Really wanted to see that area, too.

@@LetsGoTravelTips May have been on the bridge, not sure, but we stayed on our balcony and watched from there. And of course enjoying our room service warm coffee! Very foggy that day and cold!

I think that right now with having to wear a mask in the casino that smoking is not allowed. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure. I’m happy to double check that when we go on the majestic again next month. Thank you so much for watching! We are glad to have you here!
Thank you for all the great videos. We leave on the Majestic for Alaska next Sunday. This is our first cruise and first time going to Alaska. Kind of random question but i haven’t really seen it mentioned, how does tipping work on a cruise? Do you tip like at a normal restaurant or bar? We did get the drink package. I don’t know if that matters.
Tipping is included in the gratuities you pay that are charged to your room everyday (per person). You may have already prepaid your gratuities (we always prepay) or maybe they were included as part of your cruise fare. A gratuity of 18% is automatically added to the drinks package charge. That being said, we sometimes choose to give a tip to a crew member who goes out of their way to be extra kind and take good care of us. Does that help? Thank you very much for watching our videos. California Linda adds that if you frequent the same bar the bar tender gets to know your preferences. I do tip extra, it's nice to know that your coffee order has already begun as you walk up to the bar and you acknowledge that you are ordering a coffee. A special indulgence for me while others may opt for something different like a spa treatment or shopping onboard.
I am on the Majestic Princess now. Excellent food and entertainment. I can't believe how small the cabin is however. I am in a Premium Balcony, and it feels so much smaller than a HAL balcony...I think the bathroom is about half the size of what I am used to. Are the balconies typical to the Princess fleet in size/configuration?
Yes but like I said in my embarkation day video, I honestly feel like the standard balcony we had on the Majestic Princess is smaller than on the comparable Regal Princess and Royal Princess. I think something must have changed a little on this ship. I hope you have a wonderful cruise! Thank so so much for being here with us and letting us know things are going on board now!
