Josh do you think a person with no previous IT/cybersecurity knowledge or work history should attempt this course? Is this course sort of a means to bypassing a cybersecurity degree? Or do you think your course should be viewed as supplemental to a degree?
Currently hold an active Security+ and recently passed CASP+. I don't know what else to do. I keep applying but I keep getting denied. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
I'll be graduating from WGU in August hopefully.. I was tore between the Sales and the Cyber course but I'm definitely pro Cyber because Josh gave my wife and I the blueprint for WGU and it's only right to go back to the well!! Oh and I'm tired of Sales!! 😅
I think I may be convinced…instead of switching my Data Network Telecoms To Cloud Enginnering….I want to go into Cloud Security (preferably Azure Space)
While I think that the idea of the course it's great. I don't think this was a good example of how someone can get into the industry, I mean the guy literally said he already got an offer even before he took the course. Seems like it was just a matter of time. Hoping to see someone who wasn't getting offers or without a degree to get in to see the real potential of the course.
That’s actually a really solid point because the guy that got the 120k job was already doing tech for 10 years. Experience plays a huge factor. When you already have an idea of how things work in general when it comes to tech, learning something new doesn’t become as difficult vs when first starting. Plus, experience looks good on a résumé
Hey josh, will you ever do a video showing us what path you would take to be a cloud automation engineer, i think thats your current position, if you had to do it all over again.
@@JoshMadakorI pray there will be some sales sometime soon. I am already in cyber although not purely tech and don't mind paying for a similar course for cloud security.
Josh I would love to do a 10 minutes interview for youtube with you about your thoughts of the cybersecurity industry and your experience helping others! Let me know if you're down!!
Ok, I been watching so many of your vids, I'm at the point in my life where I do wanna get into tech and cybersecurity. I'm open to taking your course, would I nee some level of understand of I.t first so like taking the google I.t certificate just to get ny mind in the loop before doing your course? Or is your course beginner friendly also?

If you have experience in IT in some capacity and just want to get into Cyber, I recommend just taking the cyber course (you can email me at my channel email if you want a discount code!). But if you are brand new. I recommend jus trying to get into IT as soon as possible and start getting experience.

I remember hearing from other video that he does. If azure changes their portal than he will update the course etc. but I'm certain its current even till this day by any chance did you pull the trigger on the course? :)
Hi Josh , I'm going to embark my journey in cybersecurity and I'm in search of a laptop, so can u please suggest me some good options. I'm doing cybersecurity as my ug course and I have shortlisted the dell xps 15 9530 and the dell xps 17 9730 , what do you think of these laptops.

Your story sounds a little similar to mines. I got my BS in computer science technology 20 years ago to get out of nursing, except for I stayed in nursing, so no experience for me either. I’m about to start a cybersecurity certification program in August at a University as opposed to a Masters program (already in a lot of student loan debt). Please give an update whether or not you were able to land a job after you finish. I hope it works out well for you.
This is totally un related josh hopefully u read this i saw your WGU bachelors degree video and i wanted to take the faster route taking the Computer science BS has only a couple certs will this still carry over well into cybersecurity?
