I am glad for their success. Kudos to them. But when they say they work on 30 % ( gross ) margin then its a lie. Bcoz i am into garment manufacturing businesses since years and i have seen their products online and offline. A t-shirt they are selling for 5000 bucks cannot cost more than 500 rupees ( incl of cloth, stitching, printing, labelling ). And even 500 Rs. is calculated very generously. Deducting 30 % from that gives you 3500 Rs. What the hell you are going to do to a garment to make it cost so much. So like gucci/armani they are also selling it for 8 to 10 times the cost of their landing cost. Why very big brands charge so much of profit is because they hire expensive designers, have expensive locations for shops, spend lot of money on interior designing and spend lots of money on models and celebrities for promotion and maintain very high standard in whatever they do. So they have huge extra costs ( apart from the product cost ). But i don't see that for this brand bcoz its only recently that they have opened offline stores and they are not even focusing on models or brand promotions. When they say 30 % margin then it obviously its not gross margins from which you have to deduct your business running expenses. Even their net margins are easily much higher than 30 % bcoz there is nothing they are doing like big brands which reflects into higher running costs. Unless they are calculating their lavish personal lifestyle as a running cost for their business. So they are also ( like gucci, armani ) obviously having extremely high profit margin which runs into easily 8 to 10 times the cost of the product. The purpose of this comment is to make aware the people about cost, pricing, profit and margin factors of clothing brand and make them aware that there is a huge gap in the market if you want to sell your product at even 1/3rd of the price they are selling it. You can sell A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT than theirs at 1/3rd the rate only if you don't want to rush to get rich early and achieve a lavish lifestyle before you turn even 30. Stay in, Stay long. All said, no matter what but if they have been able to achieve success by doing what they love then its amazing. All the best to BLUEORNG.
I'm designer too, hv a brand & manufacturing for others brands too Fashion is very competitive market... Tough to get succeed as a brand in this industry
Correctly said can a brand be ultra premium or ultra luxury just by pricing higher and they said they were selling the same thing for 1200 now 3500 5000 So they think their quality and perceived premium is equivalent to Gucci aarmaani
30% margin LIE - when they talk about heavy fabric or 240 to 280 gsm - that cost maximum 220 rupees , if they do vinyle print or screen print or DTF . The whole T-shirt should be ready @ below 500/- and you selling @ 5000 + discount dete nahi ho, branding kerte nahi ho , toh obviously MERCEDES toh ghar pe ayegi hi.
Kon se market mai cotton fabric 220 mai ati hai vo bhi 240 to 280 gsm ki pagal hai kya ?200 gsm ki cotton fabric 650 se 800 rupee meter ki hoti ek than mai 20 kilo se 25 kilo tak hota hai kisi kisi fabric shop mai tho 6 than lena bhi compulsory hota hai ab ek meter ka price 650 hai tho 650rs × 20 meter ker price ayega ek than ka ,or vo screen printing kerte hai jitne colour ke print honge utne frame banaye jayega mostly colourful graphics mai 5 frame bante hai yah 1 frame ka price 1000 rs ka hota depend on design ,ab marketing photoshoot videography in sab ka price jor gadde
A price is not paid for the product brother, it is paid for the brand. They spent enormous fund on just building a brand which is included in their base rate above manufacturing costs
Their Whole business strategy including pricing, operations, validation is very unintuitive and non conventional; still they were able to market their brand. Exciting to know!
@foundergyaan acha niché pakda hai interviews ka kyu kharab kar rahe apni audience.most of the time you were cutting them answeing in the middle with a new question 😂 let them speak ,jawab to dene de bhai un logo ko.jaywalking ke sath bhi aisa hi kar raha tha sabr rakho hum unke purey jawabon ko sunna chahte unhe beech mei mat roko.

LET THEM COMPLETE WHAT THEY WANT TO SAY ! Be a good listener first , there’s so much information we can miss out on because of you interrupting

The main reason for their success is limited quantity

Bro @FounderGyaan PLEASE let them finish answering. Let their thoughts run. YOU are interrupting them and getting anxious. RELAX!
Cameraman should chill a bit and be a little steady.
