- Welcome, or welcome back, to Wanderlust Walks! Thank you for being here.
Today, we are exploring the beautiful Cotswold village, Stanton. A quaint, secluded village, The Daily Telegraph described Stanton in 2017 as "arguably the most beautiful Cotswold village of them all". Stanton has quickly become one of our favourite locations we've visited in the Cotswolds so far, and we just had to film our walk around this peaceful village!
Turn on closed captions if you would like to learn some fun facts about Stanton as we have a slow walk through the village, or turn them off if you want to just enjoy the journey :) Either way, please sit back, relax, and enjoy this video.
If you would like to see more videos like this, please give the video a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't already. If you have any recommendations or suggestions of places for us to visit, let us know in the comments below. With that being said, enjoy! :)

Lived in Sherston for a few years in the late sixties, not that far from Stanton.
We cycled to many places as a child but never there for some reason.
Sherston has some history, maybe worth a visit. Lived on Brook hill and got a nail in my bottom on a homebuilt
go-cart on Tanners hill .
Once successfully tickled a trout out of the river and sold it to a fella at the bottom of the hill who had stone sinks in the outhouse with many other fish in, didn't tell my dad till twenty years later, Happy days.
Oh wow, thank you for sharing such lovely memories! I'll definitely have to visit Sherston at some point in the future :) Thank you for commenting!
@@WanderlustWalks Thanks for the reply , I hope to visit again. I last visited about twenty years ago and it felt as if I had come back to a place where I could belong.
For me it is a place that connects with so much of what made my appreciation of the land and the pure nature of that life that gave me the strength to handle city/urban life and pass it on to others. I wish all children could be shown the countryside for what it is and be given the knowledge of the difference. Having worked in harsh conditions with men more dangerous than myself the men that have grown with the land always have been the backup that I needed at the time. Thanks for reminding me.
A beautiful place I really like❤❤❤
Thank you for the lovely comment!
beautiful! beautiful! beautiful! ❤❤❤thank you
Thank you for the lovely comment! :) Glad you enjoyed the video!
It`s not the buildings that make a village it`s the people who live there and having worked in Stanton for a few months a while ago I am glad that I live somewhere else.
Hi John, Can you please elaborate, we are currently researcing Cotswold villages to move to.
