Hello Percy. It certainly is, I was totally shocked. I would have passed it off as a bit of white lead. If it wasn’t for the rounded edge. The white oxide or corrosion was built up so much. The Deus is amazing with the HF coil. But for me it lacks depth. Compared to the CTX. But it trashy sites the quicker recovery of the Deus comes into it’s own. If it’s a quiet permission the CTX is way better but to get in and amongst lots of targets. The Deus. They are both top end machines and are both the best at what they do. 👍

Hello Laddy8469. 👍 I used to use Renaissance wax but I was told it doesn’t do a great job. So I was advised to use a lacquer. So now I just use cheap hairspray. The proper stuff would be a organic one. But I’ve not had a problem using hairspray. Hope that helps 👍😎
Hello Buckos Adventures. Thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 👍 I clean the coins using a toothbrush and lemon juice. Just dip the brush in the juice and give it a light scrub. Only for a couple of seconds. If you do it too long it will take off the patina. Give them a rinse in water. Then let them dry overnight. Once dry, give them a coating of cheap hairspray to seal the coin. Just spray one side at a time. And let dry. It’s actually better for relics and coins then wax. And a lot cheaper. Hope it helps. I switched over to the Minelab Equinox 800 for now. I’ve detected over my permissions for quite a while now with the Simplex and the finds we’re starting to dry up. So I needed to try a different machine on them. As they all have different strengths and weaknesses. I know there’s a lot of history on them fields. And most of my permissions are riddled with coke as well Which the Simplex loves. So that’s why I chose the Equinox 800. Until the next one, Take care GL & HH 👍👊
