- The displays for Kelly use a reverse female connector and a four wire harness, at least this one does. someone please let me know in comments is your Kelly this way or is this a different model. I notice some models have f at the end and this is one of them.
Yes as usual always mispeak say wrong number or something, lol I kept saying 760 instead 750. lol don't get old guys!
Are you familiar with the grin technologies satiator chargers? I have one and I like it but my battery is 70ah and even though it's 5 amps it still takes all night to charge, do you think it's possible to run another one together like you do for a fast charge? Thank you....
@@dust6242 Yes I'm very familiar with it abs I'm sure it's a great charger as it gives you lots of little detailed extras however it's crazy expensive and before I pay that kind of money to have nice guages meters and automatic cut offs I'd prefer to have something powerful a real fast charger and while most people think 10 amps is fast charging its not. It's faster charging but not if you have a 40AH like you said. 10amp charging on a 40AH is nominal charging at best especially with most 40AH are like 10p. that means 10 in parallel and they're only getting 1 Amp of charge per cell and that's if you had a 1S 10p. Most 40AH packs are about 200 cells at least and those good cells can fast charge some of them at about 5amps per cell. when you divide 10amps by 200 cells there hardly getting 10ma per cell. Anyway I actually use a variable voltage variable current 25Amp pwr supply to charge. I only paid $60 for that, lol anyway that's not for everyone because you need to know what the full charge voltage is for whatever size pack your charging for example 72v 84.4v you have to manually set that voltage. if you set it wrong you can burn up your BMS and even worse if you have no BMS over charge your pack and I don't have to tell you what happens then. so you can get a pwr supply and save money or you can get multiple fixed voltage chargers and put them in parallel just like batteries. I also have about 4-5amp 72v chargers I tie together in parallel to charge at 20amps. hope that helps
very helpfull i think im on a winner with your knowhow sir on this dam kelly controller i have had little to no luck with now going on year number2 sadly its been a nightmare from day 1 when i got it lol so i will only bend your ear on a few questions ok when you get back cheers n regards
I just installed a 750C BLE (BLUETOOTH NAVI) display (female connector)on a customers Ariel Rider Grizzly previously installed with an 850c display (male connector). I had to dissect the AR 850c and 750C displays, pin out the wires leading to the controller. After figuring out, I bought a new male 5 pin harness, desoldered the 750C , swapped harnesses - done. Factory made bike have the display proprietary to their bikes with "male" connectors (your bike, AR, Sondorrs, etc) The TFT series displays are UART/CAN Bus protocol and not compatible with many bike controllers. For that Kelly controller you need access to an Onyx (Kelly installed)to pin out the display (pwr,B+,grd,rx,tx) , hopefully that will help
much appreciated for sure, so are these mislabeled maybe mine or my bomber is an 850c I need to recheck. maybe I assumed it was a 750c. Good looking out
also I did see that btw in the PDF I do have it man that's allot fine print lol I'll kill it up on my pc this time
Thanks to the helpers identify error and continuous red light
is the Kelly difficult to program ?
Is the unlock Software now Work for the sabvoton? Good Video 🙂💪
this is another Bike Im working on for a friend. Not my bike but guess what brother i sold my bike. Someone bought my entire bike so Ill message you and tell you all about it as Now Im gonna have to build another bike, lol
@@ChrisCrossingWires1212 OK Buddy im waiting on you 🙂💪
Man how much money do you think you’ve spent building your custom enduro? Thinking about going that route instead of nodding my Tomo
oh boy i think Im well over 5k I have to do some checking. I could have done it allot cheaper if I were patient and did my normal shopping for deals but I was in a rush to get this bike going so I bought all new stuff and paid retail for everything. Im sure I could have saved a grand or two but yeah Ive spent a few dollars but I much rather do it this way and have the performance I have. To buy a Bike with the same performance I have Im sure would cost at least 10k or better but you cant actually by bikes on the level you can build them with, Im sure you know that
@@ChrisCrossingWires1212 thanks Chris
