Winter tires are a must have to get the full investment out of your equipment especially when working on hills. We've lived with ag tires for almost 10 years now. But last I checked, cost to switch one tractor over (6 series JD) to Nokian's was between 10 to 12k CDN. It's smarter to just invest in a new Kubota M6 with Nokians already installed and included in the financing.
Matthew, I have thought about doing the same as you did with the 3pt pin to allow the blower to float along by itself. The thing holding me back is it bouncing unnecessarily going down the road. Have you had an issue with this this? We do run accumulators on everything
I personally don’t have any issues with it, knock on wood, but I would keep spare 3 point parts in house to be safe. I know Northern Snow had a few issues with their 3 pts this season, so I’m getting an extra 3 pt set up for each of my tractors to keep in the shop!
Hello Matthew I hope you can answer this question. I"m looking at getting a 4066R or a L6060 they seem to be both good machines kubota has external heated mirrors Do you think this feature is really needed?
I would invest into a Kubota L6060 before a 4R John Deere, they hold their value well, have a more spacious cab and much more reasonable sale price. I was going to trade In my 4052R’s however it simply was not the correct time. Take your time, watch Stefano Narducci’s videos and Nick Bohner, and make the best decision for you and your business! Hope this helps, Matt

I agree 100%! I just sold my 6R’s today due to this reason
Rust coat...great idea. How'd you apply it? Air gun?
