Aldana would benefit massively from a style switch by adding kicks to her game. She has the reach and length to adopt a Muay Thai stance which I really think she should. She has the range to do it yet she relies on her hands most of the time which isn't enough. She also needs to work on cutting the cage. She should consider moving gyms if I'm being honest. A move to Xtreme Couture or some time at Thailand in a Muay Thai gym would benefit her.
I don't think that's going to do it, dude. Aldana's issue is strictly mental. You can send her to the motherland of Muay Thai itself and drill leg kicks and game plan around leg kicks till the cows come home. None of that will matter because she'll just simply choose not to check leg kicks. Hell, I don't think I've seen her throw one leg kick or head her entire time in the UFC. She's somewhat like the Diaz brothers in that regard, however it's a bit more in that she doesn't have the champion psychology.

@@cosmokramer7396 She threw a few leg kicks in this fight but her movement was still the same and the kicks weren't as sharp as her punches cause she isn't used to throwing much of them. It's such a waste of her long legs. If it really is a mental issue, I think she should get a mental coach.

Nah, Dumont barely touched Irene before the headbut, and that illegal cut definitely influenced the fight. Imagine if the roles were reversed and Irene cut her like that, Dumont would've been knocked out in that 3rd round, without being able to see; Norma was uncomfortable enough as it is with Aldana's pressure and punching power in that last round, imagine if she couldn't even see with a stream of bIood covering her face and she had to weather that pressure and keep running and back-pedaling
