Luke Stoltman just announced he tore tendon in strong arm. He will NOT Be competing at Prince Albert Hall. He has been in touch with Brian Shaw. He is hoping to participate but Luke is Not 100% sure yet. Luke is in my Prayers.
He has a partial tear. Fingers crossed for his rehab. All depends on how his recovery goes, I don't imagine he would rush his recovery especially with him having little Koa in his life now. Personally I would take as much time as possible with my little one and come back better than ever.
I don't want to sound like a dick, but it seems to me that there are much more serious reasons to address almighty God than for a tendon of some superstrong dude to heal faster 😂
Nah the presentation quality of the show last year left a lot to be desired and the event choice was disappointing This year the event choices seems much better but the commentator will probably just as mute worthy as dr bill
@@dantethunderstone2118 the events were still better than any of the other shows of the same year, IMO. Rogue probably would have been the best if they didn't change things last minute. The rock throw at the Arnold's was boring, and the other events we've seen before. WSM events are pretty much almost always the same. I do agree that this year's events at the Shaw are more exciting, though, and that they can improve on the livestream.
@@dantethunderstone2118 why aren't they strongman? Or are you saying that because tests of chest strength and leg strength are lacking in most strongman comps, that should stay the case and we shouldn't have any chest or leg strength events? As a "new fan" (2 years), I strongly disagree. I've not watched a single Shaw Classic. Not because they aren't good enough but because there isn't enough strongman content to keep me engaged. The free content that WSM, Rogue, and even channels like this offer to the sport can't be compared to something that's put behind a paywall. Whilst Brian has the best intentions, he is only able to do what he does based on existing fans and through the likes of these other companies bringing in new fans. I watched it happen with boxing, where promoters try to get every penny they can out of fans in order to pay/ attract the athletes and it seriously stunts the growth of the sport. He should at least start putting out the full comp within a month of the show ending. The sport has only just started to really grow and he is trying to run before he can walk IMO.

If you watched this on mute you might think it was announcing the line-up of the world's strongest beards. Some truly powerful facial hair across the line-up. I think only Mitch Hooper didn't have a Gilgameshian adornment of epic scale, but he makes up for it with Sgt. Slaughter style points.
Went last year and had a great time at the comp. This year seems to be more of a crazy line up. Favorite strongman show at this point along with rogue.
The SMOE will be epic. Not only will it be a great show for the Pro men, but it gives the amateur men and women a chance to showcase their skills on a grand stage. Props to Brian, Keri, and the whole team for setting this great show up.
World's Strongest Man is a cop about gamesmanship and not really showing off the current "world's strongest man" I think this new/returning comp run by Brian's team will be the true showing of this title for me. Large pool of competitions. all the active world's best, and the heaviest weights.
It's going to be interesting to see how much the guys will focus on this year's SMOE. It is a little late in the season and not all of the guys have been in their best shape there but with the prestige rising, that's probably going to change.
I think it’s terrible that the comp that made the guy and made him wealthy, is now consistently under attack by his fanboys who don’t seem to understand things very well. And don’t seem able to like 2 things at once.
Feels like an overstatement to say it's the best lineup of the year. It's the WSM finalists, Thor, Oleksii, and Americans that didn't make the final. All the guys deserve to be there, but the Arnold's was still more exciting to me
Why no mention of England's Strongest Woman? It literally took place at the same event as the men's England qualifier! I guess they don't matter as much...
This is the main show of the year for me. Done properly by strongmen and for strongmen and typically a great viewing experience.
absolutely incredible in person too

Brian’s comp I think is the best to watch as a fan of strongman, no bs, just a good show, cool events and well working stream

Strongman seems to be going in a good direction, can't wait to really see a MW and LW circuit take shape in a really prominent way
Brian Shaw really is revolutionizing Strongman. Respect to him for putting on an amazing show and pushing strongman away from the dated WSM format.

I wonder why there was an edit after "ben glasscock" 🤣🤣

SMOE is the best event of the year for me. The heaviest and most raw strength contest to decide who’s the strongest man on earth
Best competition of the year without a doubt. Whoever wins this is the undisputed...strongest man on earth.
Isn't Luke stoltman going through a bicep injury currently?
Yes, Luke just released a video saying he has a torn tendon on his right bicep, which will take up to 12 weeks to heal, but no surgery needed.
He can still train certain movements, I think hes still in for this event as it currently stands. Hope hes repaired enough in time.
What's going on with Kevin Faires? He's always an awesome addition
Just hasn't had good enough results of late to deserve the spot
Kevin is a decent strongman but he isn't a podium finisher in any decent lineup
He not really a top guy

I don't think the names are that hard, but whatever font the designer chose is INSANE.
Insane good or insane bad 🤔
Hard to read.
I love that Brian really pushes the competitors and rewards their hard work fairly. He runs a great competition.❤

the best possible lineup given the current available and healthy athletes (if Bobby Thompson and Trey Mitchell can recover from their recent injuries)
Is Licis done with strongman due to the injuries? Hope seeing him back somewhere.
Loz, you are looking strong! Your shoulders and traps are huge! Looking good. 💪🏼
Brian Shaw once again showing he is the GoAT
I love these videos, it's like a weekly update with a little bit of everything. 👌👌
Boom! Looking forward to SMoE!
Whats that T-shirt you're wearing Loz? Looks awesome.
How can you watch this?
Another excellent video, thank you both!! Can't wait for the show🙌🏽💪🏽🔥
Do you think Luke will still get there now with his bicep tare?
Just watched Brian's channel and apparently they're going to be pulling some insanely heavy farm equipment 💪 cant wait!
Definitely a Stacked Lineup. Brian's show will eventually be number one.
Gonna be EPIC! Can't wait! Now Brian just needs to get Loz and Liz out there for commentary or something!
YES! Ready for those cards to drop now XD
Cowabunga. Looking forward to seeing this.
What is the prize money like this year at The Strongest Man on Earth?
wow what a lineup. Will we be able to watch it live? LOL
Perfect roster. If there needs to be any reserves I’d say put Ondrej Fojtu & Jaco Schoonwinkel if there’s any pull outs
100% with a Eddie Williams

Good hell, what a lineup!
Not as many household names? There's 4 WSM winners, Europe Strongest Man winners, 1 Shaw Classic winner, WSM Finalists ...I mean, wow!!
I also don't know why he said that. Who can you add to make it more householdy

No Mark Felix.
No strongman is a household name.
This line up is wild
Will it be heavy? Let's just say it'll feature tractors.
Liz - "What is this Game of Thrones?" Well the Mountain is in there...
Not bad job with the name pronunciation! Though somehow Loz got all the easy ones 😅😂
Going to be tough one
Hopefully Trey is fully recovered and hopefully Thor's pec injury is more recovered so his pressing won't suffer like it did at Arnolds 2024.
Will Luke still be competing with that bicep tendon problem?
He said he'll have to skip the Royal Albert Hall show, sadly.
Gonna be the best show of the year
Matt Ragg 👌🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Between that line up and those events - the strongest man on earth is cooking up some serious gourmet shit!
Loz is a freaking monster. I mean come on
Even being retired for years now, he’s still in great shape. I’d say he looks more like an off season bodybuilder than an in season strongman
Was just thinking this.
Great White North is the more common slang name for Canada.
hell yeah!
Cmon Matthew Ragg!
No Mark Felix?
Why with you guys and giants live is Oleksi always former world strongest man while other former winners are the 2023 wsm or the 2018 wsm.......

Hope Luke Stoltman is recovered in time for this

True but it failed to deliver while this us still full of potential
@TheFrancieBrady Something tells me this will not live up to it either, but because Brian's name is on it it'll get a free pass
