Thank you sis❤love from 🇿🇦don't let the haters make you change...I appreciate you for reminding us that sa is not as bad as we see it...cause we always comparing and complaining about sa ...
Every time I watch Your Videos, I am left shocked but more so I learn a lot about Your home country.patrol prices get adjusted every month because the cost is based on R/$ exchange
SA buy crude oil then refine for themselves also converting coal into petrol and gas, prices are still high but with when commodities go up the coal plays a role
Another thing, check our groceries stores how they do sales during this time of the year, so to be strategic, you will need to consider to buy winter clothing for your family in this season, and buy lpg gas that you will store safely somewhere so that you won't have to buy it at hiked cost in winter. For now, enjoy Food Lovers Market fruit and vegetable, I mean you'll see it for yourself, there's fill a bag sales, this is where they will say fill a bag with peach, apricot or mangoes and pay say R50.00 for a bag full and check in at Bros restaurant
Well its because petrol as a commodity that controls other products and services it is subject to volatility for example, the price of bread can go down if petrol goes down, so will the other essential foodstuff like eggs, meat, and mealie meal. So its very important that that petrol come down
In US we call it Filling Station 😂I love yr Chanel I’m South African 🇿🇦 in USA would love to meet you wen I come home 😂so u can be my guard wen I go to Nigeria 🇳🇬 ..!!
We have a company that is responsible for cleaning patrol 🇿🇦it is called Sasol ,it is located in Mpumalanga, province, that's how we🇿🇦 clean the raw patrol.
Yeah...the things we take for granted...cleaning the windscreen or pumping you tyres. When the Rand becomes strange or weaker it affects the price of Petrol.
There is also a levy on that fuel price rendered to the Road Accident Fund that assists all those that are involved in vehicle accidents. I think we one of the few countries in Africa that have the capacity to offer that. I also feel that South Africa and Nigeria cannot be compared. Nigeria has a mighty population and that can be an economic advantage especially if the country is active economically. In the previous year (2023) SA collected 12x more tax revenue than Nigeria could. Both countries have challenges and could learn from each other.
Just subscribed. The price of petrol in SA is regulated by the Central Energy Fund and adjusted every first Wednesday of the month if there is a need or shift in the markets. If the prize changes up or down because of market forces, the Minister of Petroleum and Energy must publish in the gazette for all citizens to see before adjustment.
@OJFamilyWorld I heard you say it's a Bonus/Free if they wash your window screen or fill in your Tyre with Air..... are you saying that you guys get charged for that in Nigeria???
Is true ..when ever the petrol prices goes up. Government will communicate with citizens in advance or verse wise, even tell citizens with the amount petrol price goes up or goes down with...
Some call it Petrol Station, some call it Garage in South Africa. Great video OJ Family for appreciating the little things that some of us South Africans take for granted. Thank you for the positive video about South Africa. In South Africa petrol goes up and down several times a year, at least its not up up up. Keep up the good stories be it South Africa or Nigeria or Zimbabwe etc. The world needs good, positive stories
The patrol price always fluctuate ,it is control by international markets , when the price of crude oil decreases, it affects the price of patrol in South Africa 🇿🇦
When international oil prices goes up petrol prices goes up as well.when it goes down petrol prices goes down.but it is a lot other combination of things like when rand is performing well then petrol will go down.like I said it is a combination of a lot of thing like wars .
Every now and again our government reduces our Petrol prices ! However South Africa is the most expensive within Sadec interms of Petrol and Diesel ⛽️ if you go to Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, etc they are way cheaper than us.
Hi there. Ok, today I decided to react. I hope my comments make sense. I stay in more or less the same area in Brackenfell/Durbanville as you. I always try to make sense of your 'surprises'. Possible reasons have to do with these:(1) Most of SA is highly developed while many (most?) areas in Nigeria are still underdeveloped - if I am making sense. (2) SA's banking system is on par with the so-called developed world.
I have watch lots of her videos and mist if them leave me shocked, cause what she normally get suprised by, its just a norm to us and It makes me scared of the living conditions then in Nigeria
What is normal in SA is very big in Nigeria because Nigeria needs help right now and nobody is doing anything about it to enable change I'm pained because it won't be easy for the younger generation
@@OJFamilyWorld ,I admire Your passion for Your country and I do hope that Your channel can make a difference, especially for the younger generation to strive for better, Unfortunately some Nigerians prefer to move to better places, some people criticize us that we don't travel, but most of us don't cause we saw how our most of us and our parents fought for this freedom that most Africans are enjoying today and we try to strive for better cause as much as our country is far better than most African countries, We still have a long way to go, especially when it comes to equity and equal opportunities compare to the whites
If your currency gains value against the American dollar fuel price will go down. So naira is performing poor against the dollar and is depreciating at an unacceptable rate making cost of living high, remember higher cost of fuel affect cost of goods, transport, electricity etc.
Queuing for petrol? If there are two cars in front of me, I either go somewhere else or come back another time...and we tip our petrol attendants too 😀 You are precious. Love your videos...they are heart felt 😉 🇿🇦 🇳🇬
