sir (or any student ) we have already used sign conventions of object, image and radius of curvatures in deriving lens formulas....then why do we need to put again the sign conventions in deriving lens makers formula ??? BIG DOUBT SINCE MONTHS. kindly reply
brother because in deriving lens formula there was no case of double refraction in that case we have assumed the refraction only one time because we have assumed the surface to be same....but here double refraction is occurring so we have to make again use of sign conventions..i hope you got it!!
thank you sir,i was bit confused about sign conventions as i am referring from local textbook before but this ones cleared my doubt.... thank you very much once again
When we place a piece of glass in water it becomes invisible. Is it because of the very near values of refractive indices of glass(1.5) and water (1.33) ?
Sir I had a doubt about a numerical.... A double convex lens made of glass of RI 1.5 has both surfaces of equal radii of curvature of 20 cm each. An object of height 5 cm is placed at distance of 10 cm from lens.what will be image position....??? Will it b infinity or will it have some value.....???
Sunita Malik when u remove a decimal from denominator u hv to multiply by 10 in the numerator...nd thn aftr ths u ll found tht in numerator u have 10 nd in denominator u hv 5 so ...on division the answer wll be 2
if he does that u will not have the same level of understanding. To learn something properly one must take enough time. I get very annoyed at my school teacher. He finished this whole chapter in 3 lectures of 1 hour each. I was unable to understand much and felt like i wasted my time in class. This is much better for me. Also you can speed up the video to 1.25-1.5 if u want
You are an angel and a savior Sir. I don't have enough words to thank you. May God bless you Sir
❤
Waah sir!!!! Kya samjate ho!! Maja aa gaya
46:52 it is always interesting to know ..... science .. i really love it and enjoyed it
Thankk u sir

I think that we are not using sign convention here.we have taken CO=-u and CI =+v
Good....
I also have same doubt
Sir u are my inspiration....

#Afnan Yes
Rohit Kumar thanks, ☺
Pls tell me some one sir ne lens formula nahi karaya na
sir we have already used sighn conventions in dericing tje formulae used then y we r again using it
Sir, why lens maker formula is only derived from convex lens and not by concave lens ?
XII-9-10 ....??? Lecture nii h ky
👍🏼👍🏼 Thankyou sir.☺️☺️
Thnx sir now i came to knw what optics is ..
Thank you so much sir🤗🤗🤗♥️♥️
sir,you are awesome.

20 cm on same side
So Brilliant ho sir g aap
you are the best best teacher thank Sir ji
Nice lecture and video
very nice explanation
very nice video
..
thanku sir wonderful explained
Thank u so much sir
Thanks a lot sit ji👍👍👍
thanku so much sir...................nice explanation
Gbu sir

Sir you are great
It was nice... I got that
sir yeh smj ni.lga k apne 1 upon 0.5 ko 2 diaopter kaise answer diya or iss jaise sbhi focal length given wale numerical smj nhi lge at 35:20
