Those making comments about using “off the shelf” tops because they have pot routes obviously missed the Laguna Dragon’s Breath and Sitka Spruce and are lacking the knowledge how easy it is to program a CNC to skip some procedures. Wonder if the jealousy will ever end. BTW, beautiful guitars that are beautiful and practical. Nice work.
What's the point of dropping $$$ of fancy woods when the guitar sounds like an acoustic with a $100 pickup in it? It's a one dimensional sound that isn't inspiring.
On they're site,.....a lot of these high end private stock builds are used. People realize,.....unless it's a collector approach??? You simply CANT justify that kind of money for a tool that makes sound. YOU CANT. Only a collector can. Unless your Joe Bonamassa I guess.
If I wanted to play that music, and other music like it, I would be playing a Martin. There is great truth in using the right tool for the job. The guitar in this video has no reason to exist, because there is no use for it playing any kind of music well.
Agreed. Why keep the pot carves for no pots? Because "art"? More like because CNC.... You keep talking lightness = resonance...? How about chambering...? I hope someone that can play finds this guitar so it doesn't just become a case queen or a wall hanger guitar because the resell value on this is chump change. This isn't pushing the industry forward, this is regression.
@@nandakishore588 It's a waste of gorgeous wood. If pushing the guitar industry forward is selling art pieces then dealer are blind and ignorant. It's actually sad when instead of making instruments for players we have great fantastic rare trees going to die and hang on a wall. Shame on you Ish Guitars. DO BETTER!

What a piece of crap ..didn't even bother to put a nice veneer on it, just a stock, off the shelve pre routed top.,.they can slap on " beloney inlay" all they want, looks s..t..to me..wouldn't even buy it if I saw it in the dollar store
That guitar is beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous.
The PRS private stock team are the pinnacle of art guitars imo.
All very cool looking guitars
I love the knob routes! Especially on those solid color ones

Thanks for the support!!
@ishguitars
You’re welcome!
Congrats on a unique instrument! Enjoy!!
WOWWWW!!!! I am about 3 hours away in Canada, but next summer I am definately coming to visit you guys! :)
Not too far! We'd love to have you at the shop.
Lowest action I've ever seen. 😍
It has its unique thing to it. Very very awesome. I like the Michael Jordan look btw Ish.
LOVE IT❤❤❤❤
Piezo saddles?
Yeah, L.R. Baggs saddles on the classic PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge...
Love the idea. But the knucklehead in me thinks PRS was like....nooo we don't re-programm the CNC. You have to live with the knob routes LOL :D
We’ve designed some other versions of this guitar with no cavities haha 😉
It kinda looks like the Breaking Benjamin signature that they were working on before he moved to ESP.
Nice
He plays like Duane Allman!
Gibson did this in the early 2000s with the Gibson acoustic cs.

When no soul + private equity + guitar companies intersect.
That’s Gibsons and Fenders. PRS still has a soul because of Paul.
Beautiful, not a fan of the knob routes - and too much piezo quack. I’d rather have my Martin with an LR Baggs Anthem, or better yet, an SM-81.
$20k? LOL, no.
I think you can get the same sounds and more out of a Fender Acoustisonic
Beautiful, but that piezo only sound is quite awful. Guess it's more of a piece of art than a players guitar. I don't get it, but...
An other gimmick to collectors who don't really play but display 😂
Sorry ISH😂

For me its a guitar made off used pallets.......
Sounds like plastic ballon’s rubbing against each other.
Not a natural sound at all. Yucch.
waste of a private stock.
prs fanboys are worse than gibson fan boys. That looks like a guitar before it gets preped
Bruh go back to your single-wide and just be mad that you’re poor somewhere else

completely true. it's is not an electric guitar, not an acoustic guitar, just a beautiful piece of wall art which serves no real musical purpose.

Good thing no one cares what you think 😂
I mean, "I'd buy that for a Dollar"....😂
