Sourdough is so fun, and when you need a break, you just put it into your fridge for a bit until your're ready to come back to a project. Feed daily for very mild starter, weekly for a little more tangy, and monthly feedings to wake it up for projects that are extra sour. Excited for you!
I love to make these kamut Baguettes because it’s so fast and quick to go with dinner. Although our fav way is to make a bruschetta and eat the whole loaf! Love our Kamut!

This one is meant to be very fast. You simply put the dough in the freezer to keep the butter cool if it happens to get too warm while shaping it but that is just a short time before you cut it into baguettes. Does that help you?
Coming soooooon! Getting the pans just right. You can cook on a cookie sheet in the meantime. We're so excited for more people to make these right in their homes.
Remember that in the kneading step, it will be easier to work with once you add some flour to the board. It's okay to lock the stickiness inside. Every climate is a little different and you'll get very good at "feeling" how the dough should be. Go to the kneading step and work quickly. Don't over-add though. :D
It's about 15 minutes but keep an eye on it since every oven is different, and make sure the oven is fully heated before you put them in. Happy Baking!
