Today MandJTV Plays and I had to Pick Two Random Pokemon Then Race To Find Them. This race took place in a Randomized version of Pokemon Yellow and the first person to find the Pokemon chosen for them in a wild battle, trainer battle, or any other method of finding Pokemon won! Fun fact. The ivysaur that Mikey was fighting at the start couldn't have started struggling because gen one ai don't have pp on their moves.
best strategy is to just randomly be like "oh no, that mol... i mean nothing..." near the begining so they search erly routes for it, which it isnt there
jack accidentally did that strategy in the one they did with him.
This could be a series. Every video, John and Mikey have to find a different pokemon, and who ever gets theirs first, they get one point. Then when they complete the game, they count up all the points. Highest score wins.

Imagine Moltres was coded as like missingno or mew so you have to glitch your way
Then they could have still got it. Here's a list of all the yellow exclusives. (Missingno is not a Pokémon, but a go-to for the game when there is an encounter without a Pokémon to display.)

So Weedle line, Jynx, Electrabuzz, Magmar and Mew cannot be encountered on your own in Yellow without cheats. So with randomisation. There were 7 out of 151 Pokémon they would never encounter legitimately. 5% is a decent chance to have the Pokémon you picked be un-encounterable xD
Mew was an event and can be got via gliches like me ;)

Using Gen 1's 65% accuracy, the odds of missing 6 in a row is 0.184% You technically have better odds of hitting 3 OHKO moves IN A ROW lol.

Poison-type pokemon can be poisoned in Gen 1, but only by Twineedle because Poison-types are immune to other Poison-type attacks.
