Hey Chis I know you are and expert when it comes to bikes and you have rode a lot I would like to ask you a question I recent bought a brand new 2023 Suzuki GSX-R600 the bike is amazing however I noticed at very low speeds 5mph to maybe 10mph if you hit a small bump or some uneven pavement or pull out of driveway I hear a slight noise in front like something is loose or its a compression issue on forks maybe I need to stiffen or loosen them I took it to dealer they went over all bolts made sure nothing was lose they retorqued everything including triple tree the main mechanic said this was normal for gsxr at low speeds. Whats ur thoughts on this matter. other than that bike runs good and nothing looks loose
Hey from the UK 👋 I've got a 2013 GSX-R 600 and have a full Akrapovic exhaust with normal sized can to fit before having the bike mapped, I've already fitted a P08 filter. I plan on keeping the bike so have been looking at velocity stacks before having the map done. From your videos featuring velocity stacks, the general rule seems to be a slight mid range loss in the mid range for a top end gain. Is this the same for the GSX-R 600's? The bike is my toy and notobably won't live life in straight lines at high rpm. Would you say stacks would be worth it if the end goal wasn't chasing max power numbers? If it makes any difference I only run 99 or 97 RON pump fuel which is about 95 or 93 for US ratings.
0:35 Not sometimes, Almost ALWAYS. Even on an Automobile with a restrictive catalytic convertor and such. Yes you open up the flow but you also effect the Air Fuel Ratio (as hes shown here repeatedly). The o2 sensors reads the mixture, and adjust based on what its TOLD to look for. What do they normally pick up for power after tuning if the catalytic convertor and exhaust servo function is retained? And say just a slip on muffler and say a Sprint P08 air filter are installed then tuned?
@@TheLoneWolf_andCoyotethe converter being off doesn’t create bad fumes for the rider if the exhaust exits like stock or an Akrapovic.
