Makes one wonder if its kind of unfair for 'impartial' critics to make fun of movies and pass negative comments in such a discussion..🤔

What has Aashameera reviewed this year for the industry? Not seeing her on channels. Maybe in print? Her WordPress site is dated.
As someone who largely watched Kannada films in the second half of the year, I could not relate to this panel. The Telugu reviewers mentioned a few but the lady doesn't seem very aware of that Kannada also makes the mid-way between mass and arthouse films a lot. Besides the three films they mentioned: Hostel Hudugaru Bekaggidare, Sapta Sagaradache Ello and Kaushalya Supraja Rama (which I haven't actually seen for the same reason I can't watch most Telugu movies), the following ones are worth checking out: Aachar & Co (predominantly female cast and crew, which is rare for Kannada and perhaps the other Southern industries), Daredevil Mustafa, Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye and Toby (both by Raj B Shetty). There is an indie film that I am waiting to see called Sixteen (English title) which Hemanth Rao described as the best Kannada film of the year. But, given that I am still waiting for Pedro, I don't have much hope.
People made a lot of comments about the lack of good action in Indian films. You guys should really watch KILL (dir. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat). I watched it at TIFF and it has to be one of the best cinema experiences for me this year.

Would have to hear more from BR. Great to hear movie experiences from Josh, Vishal and Suchin. Was irritating to see Ram interrupting and break discussions in between. Over enthusiastic. The show should have been better structured.

This guy's ranting on salaar but irony they loved watching pathan jawan and jailer, expected telugu critics to atleast mention balagam but other critics they mentioned how their language films are favourite without hesitation

I think Indian action and stunt work in the last decade has gotten way better in many aspects than Hollywood.
in 2000s we had don 1 , blue , which had good hand-to-hand combat scenes and broke the stigma of realistic action !

North critics and Tam critics engage in 69. They are both the same in putting down Telugu films. The North audience flip the bird and throng to theatres to watch Telugu films though. Which makes one wonder what is the place of reviewers in the scheme of things!
Who are these critics. Except for BR no one is making any sense. Ashamera Ram and josh sound desperate to get some kind of validation and they think they are making a huge impact to the world of movies.

Barbell is someone who finds faults in the each every movie just for sake of views. I wouldn’t called him a critic, critic is someone who knows more about the movie than a commoner and analyse the movie understanding the intention of the film maker. He just states his opinion.
Only ragadi is a valid critic. Others just post how they felt, criticism shouldn't just be about sharing opinions. It should also deal with the craft details and motive behind the film. Ragadi does it. Sometimes he disappoints but most of the time he is fine.
Barbell is a waste fellow he doesn't know much about movies and how they are made,, cinemapicha is a movie fan but mostly he makes videos for money his reviews are mostly telling the story

Even when ss rajamouli asked ranbir if he is given a chance to choose one director between ss rajamouli and vanga whom would he choose for which ranbir said he would choose vanga. Animal Is Ranbirs highest grosser in his entire career. We lie to defend our egos but box office doesn't lie😃

Vanga said vice-versa when he was talking about love in the interview. Fc cleverly edited vice-versa part from what vanga lines and made him look sexist. If FC was genuine they would have made same remarks on sanju movie but they did not even review that film because raju hirani is the director of that film. Tyagi girl reviewed bahubali 2 without watching bahubali 1. Nazeerudin shah said rrr which is about friendship and patriotism a regressive film but he himself did a disgusting movie called dirty picture. If you trust such people and go by their words then what can anyone say. Bollywood is insecure and they always have looked down on South. SSR himself said vanga is the genius director of current generation. We only see bits and pieces of what youtube shows us. He sold 1.6 acres of his ancestral land to make his first film. Success doesn't come easy.
Abhilasha and RVS are too cool. Dasara, Pareshaan, month of madhu all are my favorite movies of 2023. And I had great time for the salaar moment!
Telugu critics are the biggest clowns. There ain't one decent Telugu critic. Vanga nailed it when he said BR is India's top critic.

All the Mega , Giga critics are irrelevant in the final analysis. Their presence or lack thereof makes no difference whatsoever to anything. They eke a living taking about films and requesting the viewers to share and subscribe!
