Deepti's matured dialogue is very impressive... Mother's role is played effortlessly... Very nice. The End should have been better, making Rohit understanding mother better.. Planting a positive Node...!!!!
An important point of view has been conceptualized & weaved into a short story screenplay really well, and also executed very well, with sensitive acting, and easy, relatable dialogues, gestures. It's high time this gets normalised, and the privacy of "being an individual" first, and then a “mother”, is brought into the conditioning of Indian men.
The background music was really good. Well done team!

No, that wouldn't have seemed realistic or practical. The director had already portrayed Rohith as slightly immature, not in a negative way. If you had noticed the scene at 1:17 where Rohith is not even able to accept a minor change on the wall clock, how could you depict him as understanding by just having a small conversation with his girlfriend on this topic?
Her advise was definitely impactful, but no one can change in a day. 19:48 is the first step towards understanding. It's just my perspective and it's completely fine to have multiple perspectives.
According to me the writer has done a outstanding work.

Making a short film is a challenging task; it involves establishing characters, narrating a story, and providing a beginning, middle, and end within a limited amount of time.
I believe this film did justice to the process. The seed of the script was established so well without making it cringy; it's tough to address such a topic with the audience we have.
The experienced actors, with their subtle acting, made the film even smoother to watch, especially the son and mother duo.
Ultimately, the son never confronted his mom, yet we all understood him. Maybe he'll never be comfortable with what she did, but for him to eventually accept her as an individual simply by that smile in the last bit was powerful.
I would love to see more of such interesting work from this team.

I don't know how I got this in my recommendation. Something like this happened to me last month, for the next 2 days I had the same reaction as him. Then, I understood her. It's not wrong. I convinced myself that me going through her mobile is wrong. Never touched her phone ever after that. I learnt that there's no need to judge anyone. I am a big fan of tamil short films and series and JWF is one of favourite creator and i like most of there contents and this one too but i have to say this not how a Kerala girl who speaks Tamil would talk, everything is nice but when you use another language pls try to put more effort to use general slang of speaking, mostly what i felt is like using some Malayalam words here and there to show she is an malayali character,This is my personal opinion so no offense,the works nice keep creating never before contents
