Kind of miss it, because it was the simplest time of my life. I was able to do whatever I wanted and was able to study when I felt like it. No bs projects or homework with a time-stamp of you needing to get it done. Just learning what you want and focusing on that. Fuck, now I am going to college and working a job. Where did I go wrong.

@@TheShows247 I learned times tables up to 12x12 in second grade.... Learned the concept of the square root in third grade.... Pretty easy to determine on those grounds that the square root of 144 is 12....

I had to have 8 more credits than my mom had to have to graduate high school, which is an entire year of school within the same time frame btw. I’m glad my parents weren’t my teachers at school and vice versa. Low-key I was home-schooled until HS and did this. Surprisingly, I got good grades in high-school and college. Never understood why people act like school below HS even matter. Hell, even HS doesn't matter that much. Middle school and below is just day camp for kids.
Yeah it acts as a daycamp, that's why it's important, it's a social space. It's by far the most important social space for children and teenagers in fact. Especially if you don't live in an urban area.

I'm going to homeschool my kids through highschool but I have a phd don't understand not getting tutors if you really want to home school but have no background in academia, heck I'll probably get tutors for some subjects myself
