Wow! I think you did a fabulous job of giving him “new life “! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and he is definitely a beauty!! You should be proud of yourself and enjoy him as he watches over your family!!😍😘😘
I never, ever thought I could sit and watch someone repair and restore an armadillo, but this was fascinating . I am so impressed with your artistic ability. It's truly amazing. You've actually made me want to watch more taxidermy. Brava Arianna❤❤❤
Arianna you did a great job. He looks fabulous. The key w as doing the several layers of colors. You should be proud. If arty could talk im sure he'd be wagging his tail and prancing around. 😅❤
This Northern hunting girl is here for it 💗 I live in an area where a lot of families survive/support their families by hunting. We’re able to fill our freezer’s and feed our families. Yes ., they keep their “ trophies “. It’s generational. That was grandpa’s. Now grandma’s 🎉. It’s a way of life here. No part of the animal goes to waste. Hard for some people to understand., but it is a way of surviving for some. Thanks for posting and helping to educate people on taxidermy 💗
Awesome possum, you did wonderful on that Mr. Artimus Armadillo! We could talk taxidermy. I grew up with tons and I should actually send you a PM with pictures regarding some. You'd be suprised at what was around me in my youth. You're amazing! Congrats to the both of you. 🥰
That was really interesting and a that you only wanted to use what you already had. When you crossed over into makeup, I thought that was genius. He looks great! In a dead, stud armadillo kind of way.
I've been waiting on this video since you mentioned it! ❤ Did you know armadillos carry mycobacterium leprae which causes Hansen's disease, also known as leprosy. Just to brighten your day, lol! Also, Artie needs a really good moisturizer!
I really enjoyed the process, i love creating like that. Good job, my mom had an armadillo basket i wanted, sister got it. He was on his back and tail came up and formed handle, silk lined.
I could never shoot anything unless it’s a poisonous Snake or Alligator 🫣. I say that with the fact I won’t touch a gun. 🤷♀️😊. My husband is an avid hunter, fisherman etc.. and when we had our business our showroom was full of his Trophies 😮. I would always tell them.. I’m sorry, but I do get it that people depend on the wild for meals. And yes my husband used everything feasible to put in the freezer. Now having them in our house.. he knows I can’t 🫣. So now they are hanging in the barn. Your love and outlook on this Ariana is definitely Special. I love how your mind works on saving them. It’s like giving them an honor in some sort of way. Great job!!!😊

I think this was excellent If you want more texture, maybe try a pencil eraser to stamp some of the little circles. Again, good job. 💜
Great job Arianna,Artie looks great 😀
Finally got around to watching this one! Great job- he looks so much better! I love all your creative “I’m gonna use what I got” solutions!

Love it!! I also love knowing I’m not the only taxidermy lover ❤❤
You did a great job. A little tip about matching paint....paint will dry slightly darker than when wet...
