This song and a stand song led to me getting married. I had been playing this and singing it on guitar since it it came out. Been playing music for 25 + years. So long story short. I Went to the club with a a bunch of coworkers that worked for me at a smaller bar. None of which knew I’m a musician or could sing. They were goofing off with karaoke having a good time. They were pushing everyone to sing karaoke. Half or more of them did because we were all drunk. So it was funny. Well they start hounding me to sing. So I picked this song because I knew it by heart and it’s down half or whole step something like that, so I knew I could kill it even tho I was drinking. So I do the song with my eyes closed due to the strobe lights. . When I open my eyes the whole club is steering at me silent. And all at once the whole place blew up with applause 👏🏼. Everyone I work with going crazy. They thought I was the coolest person in the world (they didn’t know i could sing until then) But this very HOT girl with our crew ask me to sing a song for her. She was the bartender at the bar I owned. (All the coworkers there were from my bar) so I said yea sure. She wanted me to sing Outside by staind. So I did. And I killed it!! Best I’d ever sang Outside. So. We are married now. Funny how moments can catch someone’s attention were they wouldn’t normally be captivated. Asking girls out never worked for me. But singing those two songs landed the best wife in the world. She’s hot and she kind. That’s hard to find trust me. Usually hot means crazy and mean
