But, I can’t decide which controller is better the ddj 1000 or the ddj rz! You rip from YT too!! Lol! Me too!! A lot of songs artist post are usually a high enough quality for a rip. I can get most, if not all of them in 320kbs. You can also find some rare acapellas and instrumentals on YT! I search for some from time to time. Anyway, nice stream.

Knowing that all Motown sound and disco from the 70 and 80 have not constant drum beat (human drummer in studio) that make the BPM going different number during the song, can you resolved this problem as well with Serato Studio ?
I tried to fixed beatgrid of these song with Serato DJ beatgrid fix but, when you listening to the song, it make a distorsion where the BPM is higher or lower,.é
I see in the video that you guys talk about that but trust me, some song have huge differents BMP can't be listening without any changin tempo during the song is playing.

Hey Eric, in this video I edit the beat grid and talk about that. You can edit the grids very well and no distortion with the time stretching. Its actually one of the best things about Serato DJ and Studio

Hi, and thanks to answering me.
I am sorry to tell you that yes, I tried many songs (funk, disco, 80) and if you didn't notice the distortion it's because, you did it on songs with little differences of BPM. Try some Stevie Wonder and Jackson 5 and you'll see it yourself.
It's logical to me that the first beat of each bar you mark will not change places, just the grid so, when you ear the song with more difference it will strech,
I hope my english is clear enough to make you understand (french here).
Maybe I tough I didn't wrong with Serato DJ but there's juste one way to place the first beat of each bar right ?, thanks again for time and any help you can give me.
PS' I also have some answers from (expert they said) that the only way you can not make the song distorsion is if you use a program such a Ableton.that it will move the beat to where you want it and not streching the grid.

Ehh...not bad for V1 software. I could see it being useful if you wanted to remix & restructure pre-existing songs to incorporate into your sets or as a bridge for DJs looking to transition into beat making/production but as far as being a primary standalone DAW...still far from something I'd replace FL, Logic, Ableton etc for. It feels more like a Serato expansion pack that's evolving into a DAW

super disappointed after seeing the thumbnail which shows serato studio, roland dj 202 and pioneer sp1; those two controllers I'm considering to use with serato studio. but the video isn't about that at all.
