But somehow I'm able to hit headshots on moving targets way, way more consistent with the Kar than with the Swiss. With the Swiss it sometimes feels like I'm shooting blanks. With the Kar... I just lead and they drop.
MW guns are just so smooth and way more fun to use. And the Kar is the smoothest of them all. CW guns, no matter how powerful, still hold the same clunkyness of the game they come from.

Well, to answer you about the swiss Stodeh, the swiss does more damage/more consistency and has the same bullet velocity. I still prefer the Kar for quickscoping or for long range shots. (Easier to manoeuver).
Idk why but when I use the swiss it feels like I'll miss standing targets even from like as close as 30 meters when I'm clearly aiming at them. I have a clip of it, and for some reason the swiss is the only sniper I have problems like that with. It's like my bullets don't register or the gun is inaccurate or something.

I've tried every marksman rifle and sniper in the game. First it was AX that was my go-to weapon. Then it was Rytec, then ZRG but now I have fallen in love with M82. After a few weeks of using it and absolutely destroying with it I realized that my style of sniping doesn't favor hitscan weapons. Ax was fast to use and ZRG was easy to nail people with if they were within a certain distance. But Rytec and M82 need to have a little bit of lead to the shots that I naturally just do. That's why I can hit people that are diving or parachuting or running in the distance but couldn't hit them with AX or ZRG or any other sniper

I switched to the Swiss due to a play style change. With the Kar98 I usually paired that with a RAM7, and gun fights happened over medium to long range. Since the guns were rebalanced close range was unviable, then I changed to the Swiss paired with a PPSh. Now the role my RAM7 had is performed by the Swiss, to hit moving targets at medium range. This is something I couldn't consistently do with the Kar98 and since at close range the RAM7 was not viable anymore, a SMG was a must for me. So the Swiss fits like a glove for my play style.
Stod you should give sleight of hand a go over the sport comb. Comes in so handy with a faster reload time and the ads speed difference is barely noticeable
Started playing with the AX50 because of the variable zoom scope and clarity of it. But you just cant make these shots with it. Only issue I have with the Kar is that its scope isn't very clear and I think thats the biggest reason why most changed to the swiss, oh and then the reload being the other reason. I like the pellington too just need to get used to it
I like that the default scope on the swiss has more zoom than both the sniper scope and the variable zoom scope on the Kar98. I think swiss sniper scope magnification is 10x. Sniper scope on Kar98 us 7x I think. variable is 2x --> 8x zoom. Correct me if I am wrong, please. I like the long-range engagements with the swiss 100m-250m or so. The higher magnification helps.
I love my Kar98, looks great in Damascus and I also made it Obsidian which is my personal favorite... but I found that at one point it was inconsistent. Even in your gameplay you miss one then hit two.. over and over. I'd line up a headshot on a stationary target and my bullet would go right through the character model's head. I just felt like the CW Swiss hit like an A-train, so I dropped the Kar98 for a bit in favor of the Swiss's perceived stopping power.
The only reason I use the swiss over the Kar is the 9 round fast reload clip, and the 10x scope for the big map. My Kar 98 is still the 4x flip down scope for no glint, I actually hit a 508 meter shot with it yesterday, just below Array across to buidings downtown, absolutely filthy still.
I still like the kar but I like the swiss more for a few reasons: 2 shot body shot down that the kar can't consistently do (important since you're not always hitting headys) Shot sound feels more satisfying Reload speed Better aiming stability Much better movement stats

Few reasons I prefer the swiss: - Better bodyshot damage, im not the best shot so not every shot is a headshot, making the swiss a 2 shot kill with a body and extremety - Higher zoom, my sniper engagements seems to be more towards midrange so I really like the added zoom - Faster reload, speaks for itself Still pick up the kar sometimes and suprised how easy it shoots
@@Jczsx024 what I was talking about was 1 chest shot and a stomach shot for example. With kar its 154 + 86 = 240 (not enough to kill a fully plated enemy. With the swiss you get 180 + 104 = 284 (well over enough to 2 shot a fully plated enemy) (the same goes with a chest shot and an extremety shot)

Swiss pros -Much better body damage. Fast reloading a full clip. But the key thing for me is the scope zooms in as a proper sniper scope, much more zoom than the marksmanship sniper scope. You can run the Swiss with a 3x and you get the same zoom as the kars sniper scope but with no glint. Thinking of returning to my Kar though just coz im bored of the swiss

The follow up shots are faster with the swiss along with it not needing to waste an attachment alot on a scope is probably why it's been so popular. But honestly alot of the snipers there is not much difference. Spr kar98 swiss pel l9 mk2 any of these will do the same shit just depends on the player. Real difference is when you use the ax 50 hdr zrg or the 50. And even then some people use that shit so crazy.

I was running the Swiss load out till it felt abit off recently then I’ve switched to the LW3 Tundra with a fast ads speed load out and wow seems like it’s hitscan again in most scenarios
I cannot switch to the Swiss because it flintches when u are in a gun fight and nobody literally nobody agrees to it. Even JGod never mentions that in his comparison video. But who cares, I know the difference and I love the Kar98. ❤️
I didn't give up on the kar 98k I switched to the Swiss k31 cuz you can hit more consistent shots with the right attachments with the car 98 it's an acquired taste and the bullet velocity is a little off to me
The Swiss ads is barely slower and have better bullet velocity and a scope is default which we all already knew so atleast to me a great trade off over slightly faster ads

The reload speed and the extra damage is the difference for me, i mostly snipe from 50-500 metres so the extra ADS speed just isn’t as important to me.
I went to the Swiss and now I am back kon the kar again. Faster reload and higher chest dmg is nice but the Kar just feels better. Its hard to describe but it feeels like I can hit more HS with the Kar
kar98=butter. I feel naked without my kar and build everything else around it. I find the swiss ADS feels clunky and the zoom too much for aggressive sniping.
Why would they nerf kar98? I mean its one of those rare guns that require skill to be used,not like krig which is just a laser beam I dont see any reason for it to be nerfed

I mean the kilo only got nerfed because they over nerfed the Bruen/Grau. Had nothing wrong with it but made it overpowered cause they failed to nerf the Grau/bruen properly. Remember, no one really used he kilo in the first 4 seasons.

I run the Kar 98k with a cronen sight now, it helps tremendously against Krig6 users since they can't locate a glint lol

It has significantly more bullet drop than the kar98. However with some practice it’s almost as good. I’m using it atm just to spice things up a bit

The reload helps, but its the hitmarkers you get on the 98.. it just doesn't add up.

The Swiss can have those critical few more bullets in the mag and gets the full reload in one action.
