Hi Mari, so u keep plastic bags for reuse too. But do u fold them neatly into small compressed triangles or squares so it don’t take up much space like most Singaporeans do?
Haha when you talked about planning your routes and activities according to how many times you need to shower, and that woodlands, tampines are far, that’s me. So you’re really turning into a local 😅 oh I crave for durians too.
Hi Marie, I just stumbled upon your channel and subscribed….. YOU ARE HILARIOUS!! 🤣🤣😂 i LOL at all your comments… I am like what??!! I can tell you are truly localised and hope that you are loving Singapore ❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing this fun video. It was really great to know that there is a comfortable level of safety and security while living there and you can have your personal belongings displayed without worrying about someone coming up and snatching them.

Signs you've been here too long - making a video listing not one, not 5, not 10, but a list THIRTY-TWO items why you've been here too long 😁😂🤣. Incidentally, umbrellas are also known as "parasols" elsewhere in the world, and the origin of that word is something like "to shield from the sun". So yeah we're using them as originally intended 😁 Using chopsticks over knife + fork.... the reason why they look at you strangely, is cuz even locals don't do that. Chopsticks are actually used under specific conditions (traditionally). For example, chopsticks traditionally only used when the food is served in a bowl (like Beef Noodles). For food normally served on a plate (like mixed rice), nobody uses chopsticks to eat those. So, the strange looks u got is not cuz you're a foreigner, but they're thinking - ok she is WEIRD... (that doesn't mean you can't use chopsticks... it just means you'll have a difficult time doing so, and it's just weird). Correct local definition of "Far" - going a distance of more than 2 blocks (not US blocks, Singapore HDB blocks) is FAR. Jurong and Pasir Ris are "at the end of the world" here 😂🤣😂 Tampines has been dethroned as the "Far East" here for a number of years (cuz of Pasir Ris). Btw - Kopi Gau means "thick coffee", not condensed milk. That means you want super strong coffee. It is a double shot of coffee in the same amount of standard condensed milk that comes with normal, bog-standard kopi. I am guessing the Western equivalent might be an "expresso", I'm not sure though. I don't recall ever encountering a double shot of coffee with all other ingredients remaining the same in Western countries...NZ has a strong coffee called a "Long Black" but that one comes without milk. Leaving phones on the table to chope seats - still not advised. Why else do you think tissue paper packs pop up? 😁They're the cheapest thing you won't miss if they get taken when you try to chope yr seats.... The East Coast Plan - yes, we have a plan... for the East Coast... hence it's the East Coast Plan~! If I could give more than 1 like for this video I would... 😁
Hello! There are many different apps you can use like Duolingo and just keep watching shows in English… it will help with picking up the language. All the best 😁🙏🏻
If u have the money, living in Singapore is great . 2 things that stands out from the rest (other countries) : racial harmony and safety. For your first complaint about Singapore MRT, if Lky were still a PM, he would likely gives the minister a telling off . It seems the MRT system have too much problems cropping up from time to time. One time is too many.
one more for you.......kopi tit loh.....or kopi thick load if that will help you remember, literally meant coffee straight without dilution. you are not bad.....almost a 100 percent singaporean soon...lol
