Easily customize the WordPress Admin for your clients. Not a typical admin theme, this is a straight up admin framework. UIPress 3: uipress.lemons...?aff=dGOe2
I tried version 2 some years ago, I found Loading through Ajax is buggy in plugins... often resorting to open in new tab thus found no merit in it!!! The dark mode was making the text white on white backgrounds in some plugin widgets (Charts & statistics etc...) I thought The User Profile manager & sending messages through the back-end was cool! V3 looks amazing! the Dynamic menu is to my liking!
Same here. Bought the new version again after watching this video. This is really a game changer. It‘s possible to create a complete new admin area. I can recommend it very much. To be honest, incredible.
Great question. Could be worth doing some performance analysis / comparison testing. Also totally worth worth posing that question to the UIPress team as well. I can say, though, anecdotally that the performance feels extremely responsive.
I want to know which one better guys , doing Admin UI dashboard cosmetic or making Front end solution for clients? The problem with WP mostly about plugin`s update which breaking the site`s front end functionalities . Now if those also happen in backend , I can imagine my phone will ringing every 1 minutes or so :)
Agreed. I get why WP keeps things basic / vanilla as it lets users customize to their needs. But would be nice to see some of these things natively for sure :)
As a general rule, I don't recommend modifying the admin interface at all. Asking for worlds of hurt with unknown conflicts due to WordPress's open ecosystem for plugins, themes, etc.
I don't do it for everything, but for example I'm building my own CRM plugin for clients for my agency and having a custom theme with it would be awesome. But for WordPress installations that need heavy dose of plugins I don't modify. The admin ui
I'm sure there's some bloat. Generally speaking, there's more than if you simply did't use it. But the speed at which UIPress 3 appears to function is impressive. 🤷♂️
Seems like a lot of work just to essentially make the admin interface look different... When clients have problems or need to follow a tutorial the interface they see will be completely different than what is being shown to them- this just seems like it will ultimately confuse people who are not fairly familiar with WordPress already. One more thing to have to maintain as well not to mention the overhead of loading additional resources every page.
With V3 the design is entirely up to you. Colors, spacing, minimal, maximal, busy, clean, etc. V2 definitely had issues browsing plugins but so far I’ve seen a pretty good result with V3. 🤷♂️
Wordpress is just bullshit with plugins and more plugins, and more subscriptions. OMG. While never deal with real problems like built-in Seo features. WP it is just subscriptions for set of bunch of plugins while beeing so slow still. Gutenberg is not usable and everybody who is telling me that is the future are ignorant. Win8 start menu was great? Everyone told me it is a future. Where is win8 now?
For those interested in trying out UIPress my affiliate link is below. Always appreciated :D

Wow this is amazing, makes me wish WordPress would improve their UI natively to look more like this 😭
Wordpress adoption and retention amongst new users would probably increase significantly if they improved their UI
It still will be too slow to open
Couldn't agree more!
I mean... 🤷♂️
great video, i was close to seekin other options for admin themes. as i was unaware of the new version, it looks amazing!
Thanks @mendez! - For sure. It is pretty nifty already and still not even fully released. 🎉
Very cool, thanks for sharing this. I'm going to check it out.
Glad you found the video useful! Happy building.
Thank you Josh, you’re awesome

there is any option to set it default excluding admin ?
Hi Gireesh. Sure is. You can build out your inclusion or exclusion lists as you see fit.
I'm curious what the server load is from essentially SPAing the backend.
Great question. Could be worth doing some performance analysis / comparison testing.

Thx for this recommendation.
Thank you for watching!

Loaded it up and literally won’t open. Just gives me some weird error and blanks out the options page :/
Sorry to hear.. Are you running the latest version of WP? I would reach out to UIP support. Super responsive.
What we need is for ThemeCo to make it possible to build an Admin interface ;-)
ultra cool, thanks!
This plugin should be a core feature of WordPress!
Agreed. I get why WP keeps things basic / vanilla as it lets users customize to their needs. But would be nice to see some of these things natively for sure :)
Is this compatible with plugins like elementor?
Sure is. Because UIP is a backend builder there really isn't any real overlap.
@@buildingonwordpress Nice. Thank you for the reply. I will try it.

Wow Thanks Josh!
You bet!
Very good video! :)
Thanks @Visiualmodo :) !
I tried lots of backend custom designers and bloats WordPress, doesn't this one?

To each their own. 🤷♂️
Finally, someone in the comments section who gets the real implications of adding the new shiny thing to a site.
Wordpress X
will be so natively.
I hope...
AWESOME
Thank you! Cheers!
Its interesting concept especaially the async loading, but the design is too clean and disorienting. And there a lot of UI bugs when browsing plugins.

@@buildingonwordpress 90% is there, just need little bit more polish to be top class multi million $$ plugin.

I think you're on to something here! What are your recommendations?!
Bs…all what’s there I was coding it for years…much more better than any plugin
