DASIA IM SO HAPPY YOU MADE THIS VIDEO😭😭 you taught me so much about skating I literally bought skates the first time I saw your video a couple weeks ago💯 im gonna be a good skater because of your advice
I just bought my first pair of skates, they’ll be arriving tomorrow! I’ve always loved going to the rink as a kid, and I’m so excited to start this new journey of skating 😊
Hello Dasia, your videos are very much helpful ! I used your tips to clean my bearings last week, and while I was at it I checked my cushions, took off the truck only to discover that out of my 4 pivot cups, only one was still in place (although completely cracked) the other 3 totally broke into small pieces. Almost nobody talks about this component of the skates (I just discovered it last week) when it seems to be something to check and replace from time to time to ensure stability and not cause damage to the plate. Also, I bought my Moxi Lolly back in 2014 when I was trying to learn quad skates, tried and failed on several attempts over the years but I haven't used them regularly until last autumn : I go to my local club to take classes once or twice a week. I guess the rubber parts were too old to handle that, I struggled to find the right pivot cup replacement due to a change of size from the manufacturer, but I am waiting for them to arrive before getting back on skates and practice your tutorials here on french grounds ;)
I have to point out that Moxi do come with a tool, but most of the brands don't include one and you can purchase your tool separetaly, T tool is superior in case of speed to Moxi one, skateboard tool fit skates
I learned so much from this video. However, I’m looking for the tutorial that you said you would link below. On how to adjust the trucks. Not sure if I’m just not seeing it or what 😭 but I even searched for it and can’t find it!
I got skates for myself for Christmas and i havent used them 😬 but i want to so im here lol thank you, this was very informative, straight to the point, and welll organized. Also, youre in Nashville?? 🤔 You said, "hella" a couple times. Maybe youre also from the bay area/California 😋 thanks again!
Hi Dasia - thank you for making this video, I’ve found your channel so helpful already! I have a question about skate tools - I bought my skates at a charity store and they didn’t come with a tool. Will a spanner work? Or should I buy the multi tool?
What colour are those luminous? On all the sites that stock them the ‘cotton candy’ doesn’t match the colour so I’m not sure if that’s right 🙁 I also really like the glittery half white half pink ones, but they’re £60 per skate pair ☹️☹️☹️
@@DasiaDoesIt it showed up as the uk website! Thank you so much, I definitely want those or the orange ones, or maybe mismatched. I’m not sure yet, there’s so many colours that I like 😭
Hello there from Mobile. I’m 64 and want to skate, I skated in my teens and twenties you have any suggestions. Thanks for sharing great video by the way !
@@Anna-wd8ox sure-grip boardwalks! Also real suede and great for outdoor skating, half the price. Might want to change out the toe stop for something bigger like a gumball (long stem) when starting out
I'm a beginner and I just bought some Fundae wheels for indoor rink skating to put on my new Beach Bunnies-- I've heard some very mixed things; some people seem to LOVE them while others hate them or think they aren't good for anything in particular. What's your opinion? Do you think I made a good decision, or at least not a disastrously bad one?
ok I feel like I'm losing my mind but... I can't find anything that tells me where to find the number to see what type my wheels are. they're just the default wheels that came with the skates but the product page on amazon won't tell me either D:
this was so informative and aesthetically pleasing that I almost forgot I don't own any skates and have no idea how to roller skate
Lol I am glad you are here anyway❤
This is so meee right now 😂

Here is the wheel. Just realized it's the US version so I am not sure if you can see it. :-( amzn.to/3SAWL2e

What kind of wheels do you use indoors for roller rinks vs. outside in parking lots/sidewalks?
moxi fundaes for roller rinks, luminous 85a for parking lots, sidewalks :-)
Wait where do you buy plates when you wanna switch it out- a girl be needing some lighter platesss

$300😭✨💜 I will definitely have to start with a cheaper pair and work my way up to these. Any recommendations?
I really like my impala skates. You can get them on sale for around $80 but I heard Moxi Beach Bunnies are nice for around $120.

Measure the wheels. It’s the size that tells if they are out or indoor
I know that song...🎧
